true lol....I feel like her insta post was basically confirmation that we won't get other singles or mvs lol. It's a pitty tho because there are at least a solid 3 hits left on this record imo. I know the album is being consumed at an insane level which means we prob wont get a smash single since they are already being streamed a bunch and stuff but more singles is ALWAYS a good thing. Folklore and Evermore could have been doing even better with a couple more singles tbh. I'm just glad the GP made August a cult classic and hopefully one day they will make Tis The Damn Season another or something for Evermore

Champagne Problems is coming to smash when she leaves Travis a week before the wedding. The Bolter, indeed!

Thinking about how Lord is gonna have to crank out TS12 and TS13 by 2026 so that she can hard launch her POTUS campaign in 2027 to save America from Tr*mp. :jonnycat:

Have you fathomed the use of "episode" here:

You're in self-destruct mode

Throwing spikes down on the road

I've seen this episode

And still loved the show

"Episode" works with the preceding lyrics as in "he's having a manic episode" but works with the following lyric as in "an episode of a television program."

The first verse and chorus of this song are so good. A shame about the rest of it.

Yes, my poor, overworked grey matter clocked onto that one a few days ago :ryan3:

Almost two weeks later, I'm more convinced than ever that this is my favorite Taylord album yet. So many dazzling hints of the future — hopefully Guilty As Sin? will serve as the main influence for TS12, what a 90s CLASSIC.

She could be lazy and release singles without videos

Cruel summer and is it over now style

I can't keep my silence anymore…at 3:00 of imgonnagetyouback Jack didn't mute the drum reverb in the left ear and it ruins the acapella "whether I'm gonna be your wife…" and for that petty reason it's a skip for me

this is why Aaron and his real drums will always be famous

High School is so 90's. It finally clicked for me. I would love a 90's album from Taylor swift.  In the vibe of Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, Train and Sixpence none the richer.

Fresh Out The Slammer is TTPD's best song. Why?

The Anthology really feels like folkmore's sister whereas TTPD feels like Midnights' sister. This woman is a genius:jonny5:

The melodies? The production switch? The lyrics? The song structure? Pick your favorite.

WAOLOM is still my favorite song on the album, but FOTS is catching up real fast lately. I am OBSESSED.

Okay but Down Bad and Guilty As Sin? need to be singles. They may not be 10 week #1 smashes, but they're clear fan favorites and I could see them both being hits.

We're not getting any more singles if it's up to her.

We're going to have to brute force Guilty As Sin into being a single, prepare the streaming farms. :bird:

fresh out of the slammer grew on me a lot!

it sounds like a closing song to a bitter-sweet romance drama when the leads do not end up together and you have the female lead walk down the street while credits roll

the more I listen to the album the more I am kinda annoyed that fortnight was the one chosen to be lead single / get a video....I mean I enjoy the song but there are a lot more cinematic / Swiftian if you will songs here....It's kinda hilarious how the biggest pop star on the planet releases one video per era as if they are on a budget.

ICDIWABH will most def be the Summer single. I don't think she'll film a mv though

Yeah, FOTS is an album highlight for me. It's the most euphoric song she's ever made. Just pure sonic bliss.

if it ever becomes a single, I think it will be when the tour ends and the MV will be its performance

This is a good album and all the critics pretending this is somehow worse than Debut can revel in their wrong opinion for all I care :clap3:

Spoiler

definitely bloated tho :gaycat7: is TN hiring for editors?
