You really said not country western inspired music?

They just do NOT fit with the album.

I adore Evermore, Cowboy Like Me / No Body No Crime fits so beautifully. These just don't fit.

They are different. These one have a western sound is very dark so i think they fit with album. Right now track 7 Is not my favourite while i like i can't fix him but i think they fit in the album.

My close friend says TTPD as an entire album has a western sound, he literally calls Guilty as Sin a country song which confuses me :dies:

I KNEW you would love The Bolter. :WAP:

I cannot wait for TS TV!

I see a lot of mixed opinions about the Anthology tracks but I've had the second half of the album on rotation more than the first half :spin: ballads and depressing songs are my weakness lol. I can't wait for TS TV too!!:jonny: What are your favorite tracks so far?

I wonder if critics will do the switch on TTPD in time for year end lists or if time will drag them kicking and screaming years from now to admit it's a classic.

:suburban:

Im so dissapointed with the crictics review. I knew taste can be subjective, everyone has their own opinions.

But at least they have to recognize its harder to make an album like TTPD especially she did it with mostly only two other people. How the hell Ariana, Tyla, Beyonce has better reviews (and i love those albums except for CC) than TTPD and Deeper Well. Maybe crictics never create music by themselves so they doesnt understand that and also

her celebrity status always gets in the way of those unprofessional reviews.

Like i dont have problem with some reviews give her a 7-8. But anything below 7 is factually unfair and was driven by things outside of music

thanK you AImee is by far the worst song and deserves deletion, imo

for me I rank it low because its not like I think it is necessarily a bad song. sonically it is very interesting. I simply do not care what Taylor has to say about the Kim/Kanye **** anymore.

The recent talk about her churning out a lot of material with the double album reminds me so much of Prince. Like, I just got into his music recently and honestly it's a bit uncanny how he and Taylor have a lot of similarities in being extremely creative driven people with seemingly a fountain of ideas resulting in lots of material - both released and in vaults (+ the issues with their former labels and re-recording of past material). Also they both were the only guest stars in New Girl but that's extra :chick1:

Knowing how he was, I doubt he'd be thrilled about her but I wonder how he would've reacted to her current success if he were still with us.

Personally it's what makes me excited about TS12. The re-records process put her back into the mindset of a lot of past situations and you can see that bleed into this album and midnights. TS12 is gonna after all that which is why I also think it'll be more of a departure sonically

Not CNN switching after actually sitting with the album. The switching commences.

This is why I think putting out a review for an album the day it comes out is an action that needs to end.

Generating a professional critique for a body of work in a matter of hours after consuming the content is not enough time to truly process the material.

Ajayll liked the album, she said it has to grow on her though, which I find wise. This album is a lot to digest on a first listen.

I Can Fix feels like an interlude imo

I'm gonna keep listening to all the tracks for a couple weeks but i look forward to creating my own tracklist :giraffe:
At the moment i'd delete
TTPD, My Boy, I Can Fix Him, Smallest Man (the ending is a serve but i dont care for the rest of the song.. maybe i will keep it tho), The Alchemy from the standard and imgonnagetyouback, thank you Aimee, I Look in Peoples Windows, Robin from the Anthology :giraffe:
and objectively even though its in my top 5 So High School feels a bit out of place on the tracklist

I thought it was good on initial listen, but no track has infiltrated my mind more than The Bolter. That chorus is like crack. Total earworm.  :rip:

it's so weird cause it has such a folkmore-y production but the chorus is so ******* catchy :rip:

Cassandra really is a blessing. Such haunting song. The ending is borderline disturbing. :chick3::heart2:

GyAS? sounds like old school Taylor merged with her current sound so it might be that it reminds them of her early country pop days, it sure did it for me :bird:

This album is really strange sound wise because you have the 80's inspired synths and then some songs do have that western feel to them... add the sprinkles of 2000's alt indie rock and Evermore's own blend in some tracks and you have a very interesting mix.

Hold the f up… what's going on? Why are some setting her up in the hdd thread??? :deadbanana4:

Does anyone really sees it doing over 500k second week? :dies:
While I'm kind of getting sick of the massive debuts then end up getting single digit weeks at #1, it would be dumb if there's enough preorders left to actually break the record and yet keep shipping for later weeks…
