After a week of the album being out I'm going to say evermore is still my #1 from her because it's basically a perfect album, I'm so emotionally attached, it's comforting, and it truly is an escape from reality.

TTPD:TA is sonically volatile, thematically reckless, and lyrically experimental. I love it though. It's Red on crack cocaine in a three way with a wine-drunk evermore and a joint-high Midnights. But for now I'm going to let it settle in as my #2 favorite album from her, because I'll have to see if it ages as phenomenally as evermore has. That album is one for the ages. I'm going to be 87 still riding hard for that one. Good luck TTPD, I'm rooting for you. :chick3:

I fear for me, evermore has fallen. We hereby conduct this post-mortem.

It is rolling effect and it's so good because almost doesn't affect fortnight

All songs "lose" audience on the 8th day, it's a little hard to explain but it's called the rolling effect. A new song can't be "added" to a higher quantity of stations than it was on release day, and the radio chart shows growth on current day vs 1 week ago. So with a "small" drop like the one we have, that means it's healthily maintaining or even increasing its audience reach, enough to offset the negative impact of the rolling effect

Sorry if t's still confusing, someone else might be able to summarize it better than I did

The OG TTPD album is so great :clap3:

Anthology tracks feel like Folklore/Evermore rejects but it's still good, just not as good.

She should have released them a week apart so they were listened to, reviewed and appreciated separately.

One week in and this is holding up so well. The Alchemy and The Albatross are my constant plays today. Really beautiful songs!

not even two days since Sat was RSD which wasn't even relevant to TTPD, and Fri only had Fortnight MV so it wasn't like a long list of events either. could've just did an Fortnight MV announcement post :rip:

Yeah, I'm on the "this is the one that finally beats evermore" side still. There's way too much material here for it to fade as quickly as a smaller album might - there's still Anthology tracks I don't even know by heart, and I've never been able to say that about a Taylor album a week later, like there's so much. :gaycat6:

I did the song sorter thing and while I'm not sure about how accurate it is or will be later, there are some interesting surprises like The Bolter being higher than I thought and The Anthology kind of stomping even harder than I expected

Yeah - in particular I saw So High School there and thought "I'm really outing myself if I post this" :fan:

I'm shook you could do this. I've been driving around recently trying to rank them. It's really The Anthology that's the hardest to place. My ranking for the standard is solidified. It hasn't changed with more listens the past couple days.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who dislikes this song, the lyrics are just so exaggerated it make it sound almost like the theme song from a Disney villain. I cringe a little bit. :gaycat6:
