mael Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Today I fathomed that the last chorus of So Long, London is a TRIPLE chorus, a first for Her. [Chorus][1] So long, London You'll find someone [Chorus][2] For so long, London Stitches undone Two graves, one gun I'll find someone [Chorus][3] So long, London Had a good run A moment of warm sun But I'm not the one So long, London Stitches undone Two graves, one gun You'll find someone 2

Another one in jail.
chiliam Posted April 27 Posted April 27 So many 13/10 songs. I cannot pick top 3. But these are the highlight for me. What an album The devastating piano ballad: loml, The Black Dog, Cossomo, How did it end?. The dramatic: But daddy i love him, Who afraid of little old me? The bops: Down bad, Guilty as Sin, Florida The loneliness trinity: The prophecy, I hate it here, I look in people's window 2

Saintlor Posted April 27 Posted April 27 This album is probably the biggest grower album I've heard Still would've loved a few more slightly uptempo songs 2 1
inshadesofcool Posted April 27 Posted April 27 fresh out the slammer is approaching her best song ever i fear… a career highlight with such infectious melodies. and that guitar is literally so sexy and i love the entire structure of the song ugh i don't understand why it's not talked about more. one day. 7 1
Kern Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Down Bad is so typical vibe when you're in a situantionship. Angry, dissapointed and of course at the gym because he ghosted you 1
vale9001 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) the title track is maybe the song grew up more for me..not it's the best but it really grew up maybe cause it's the song in which the songwriting is the more classic by her but at the same time we never had if you think about it a song with this songwriting style and this sounds makes it like an 80s singer songwriter classic (with even the "blended" and not clear cut ending). Yeah the general sound has been used in the past but not in this very specific way, so if you think about it she's different girl after all! Edited April 27 by vale9001 2
Kyle-x Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I think the absolute best thing about this album is how much she's emoting on so many of the songs. Her voice in some of them is heart wrenching. 2
kayliah Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) I luv taylor but i needed some uptempos on this album... why didnt she released this in the fall though. Now i have to look for bops from other singers for my summer playlist. TTPD is a good album but it aint her best work at all. Definitely not a magnum opus a great addition sure but nothing groundbreaking. Been there done that tbh. Fearless,1989,Folklore,Rep and Midnights remain the standard. Edited April 27 by kayliah 1

Saintlor Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Just now, vale9001 said: critics do. I don't read critics reviews, but I'm glad they do. Stans seem to act like Taylor's singing is awful when she's easily capable of sounding the same live as the studio track and on the actual studio tracks her emotion, delivery and cadence are kind of unmatched.

When evermore came a music critics here on the biggest newspaper wrote in his review "an album incredibly sang" some week ago i saw her phil collins cover on youtube and Phil collins himself wrote "such a beautiful voice, she nailed this" i guess people grew up listening to bob dylan don't care about whistle notes.
