Starchild Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I still can't comprehend what y'all are talking about with "when she sees the reception to this album she'll for sure be changing her sound and dumping jack" like what? You mean her biggest album to date, along with midnights? And her having a smash with CS, AH, FN? y'all act like she's been doing synth pop for ages, what other albums did she do other than this and midnights? 2

Saintlor Posted April 26 Posted April 26 1 minute ago, ryoncé said: u literally sound delusional I mean it's just my opinion We aren't seeing new superstars of huge status anymore... even without AI I can't see it happening again. Then there's the addition of AI disrupting industries (movies will definitely become AI and fan generated in 10 years IMO) And it will heavily change the music industry... even new artists 5 years from now will not be able to be credible as we will never know if they truly wrote their music as AI will be able to generate songs very well... it already can do it decently. Then there's technology that will improve for editing singing voices and being able to replicate live vocals perfectly for concerts. If one day soon, we can never believe new artists are authentic we will never be able to connect with them in the same way. I also think society is also going to become more and more fragmented as each year goes on too. I do very much believe Taylor Swift is the last superstar the world will see. 3 1

Saintlor Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) To go back to what I just said about AI disrupting the industry and Taylor being the last superstar As AI keeps getting better and better at making things (lyrics, production, photos etc), nobody will trust that anyone really did it. Kind of like how if any celebrity goes skinny, nobody believes they worked for it, everybody (literally everybody) just assumes they paid for ozempic Taylor has built an almost 2-decade-amount of credibility in her writing talent. In 2024, people can't connect with label manufactured artists anymore. How will anyone connect with new artists (on a mass-scale) in an upcoming time where everything can be easily faked? Kyle-x Posted April 26 Posted April 26 TTPD is her 13th chart-topper in Australia, more than any other woman in Australian chart history. Taylor moves ahead of Madonna to claim third place in her own right on the list of acts with the most chart-topping albums in Australia. Jimmy Barnes leads with 15 as a solo act (he had another five with Cold Chisel), followed by the Beatles with 14. Only two of her studio or re-recorded albums have failed to reach the summit. Her debut, Taylor Swift, stopped at #33 in 2006 and Fearless stalled at #2 in 2008. Fearless (Taylor's Version) did get to #1 in 2021. Tracks from TTPD swamp the ARIA Singles Chart, with Fortnight featuring Post Malone leading the charge at #1. All 31 tracks hit the top 100, stretching from Fortnight at the top to Robin at #55. Taylor accounts for the entire top 10, a new record. She came close to setting the record in October 2022, when she had 13 of the top 14, but Sam Smith and Kim Petras' Unholy ruined the party for her by sitting at #7 that week. She also has 29 of the top 50, smashing the old record of 20, which was set by Drake in 2021 and, yes, Taylor in 2023. All up, Taylor has 34 tracks in the top 100: 31 from the new album and three older songs (Cruel Summer, Anti Hero and Lover). The previous record was 32 in one week, held by Michael Jackson and Taylor. She has now scored a dozen #1 singles here, starting with Love Story in 2008. She didn't return to the top for another six years, when Shake It Off hit #1. For Post Malone, it's his fourth #1 and his first since Sunflower with Swae Lee in 2018. With 12 chart-toppers, Taylor now ranks third on the list of artists with the most #1 singles here, trailing Elvis Presley (14) and The Beatles (26). Top 50 Albums #1 The Tortured Poets Department #5 1989 (Taylor's Version) #6 Lover #9 Midnights #11 folklore #15 reputation #18 evermore #21 Red (Taylor's Version) #25 Speak Now (Taylor's Version) #35 Fearless (Taylor's Version) Top 50 Singles #1 Fortnight #2 Down Bad #3 The Tortured Poets Department #4 So Long, London #5 I Can Do It with a Broken Heart #6 My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys #7 But Daddy I Love Him #8 Florida!!! #9 Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? #10 Guilty as Sin? #14 Fresh Out the Slammer #15 loml #16 The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived #18 The Alchemy #19 I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) #20 Clara Bow #23 imgonnagetyouback #25 The Black Dog #26 So High School #28 thanK you aIMee #29 The Albatross #30 How Did It End? #31 The Prophecy #33 Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus #37 I Hate It Here #38 Cruel Summer #40 I Look In People's Windows #46 Peter #49 Cassandra ??/?? vale9001 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Guilty as sin jumped in the top10 of Us apple music. 9 tracks in the top 10 at the 8th day 2
vale9001 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) she made this album with dessner and antonoff cause while touring didn't have time to totally focused on that, these are the 2 producers working on the TV versions so it was just natural. Imagine touring while you work with a team for an album, another team for another album, another team for another album If she can work on an album and she has like 8 months to just dedicate her time and all her work on that i think she would change anyways whatever this album made or will make or the reactions to it. But i don't think no Antonoff at all. Edited April 26 by vale9001 1
