If TTPD's 16 tracks are on the same god level as the tracklist of Folklore and Evermore or even just Red, longevity will probably be guaranteed, Midnights had many excellent tracks but also some subpar tracks, yet it served up longevity + huge debut. If she plays her cards, releases a GREAT first single along with the album, then longevity is a given, especially with the Eras Tour still underway

Folklore and Evermore didn't have that much longevity, specially Evermore, until she became an absolute streaming monster last year. Even if you think the tracks have better quality, the GP is still listening to catchy pop songs for the most part.

The album's first 3 weeks on BB200 are guaranteed to be #1, between week 4 and week 5 she should release signed copies, to guarantee 5 weeks at #1, with a bit of luck it could reach Folklore's 8 weeks

I think it's due to the fact that its transition to streaming dominance was only just beginning + the physical market (especially vinyl) hadn't exploded yet so basically Folklore and Evermore had fewer physical sales than Midnights in their first year and more streaming low and also had no tour promotion : but we can see from the solid streams of the Folklore and especially Evermore tracks that they could have had good longevity *in the BB200 top 10*

GP wants POP Taylor given the out-of-this-world longevity of Midnignts and Lover. I don't know why the fandom is so in denial about that to the point of making up lies. OPTH (obsessed Pop Taylor haters) are as delusional as oth in them creating narratives and believing them to be true :suburban:

Lord knows I'm mad Joe didn't make the cut because lord knows I'd jump on that. I don't know why but that man just does it for me. :clack:

An insecure blond blue-eyed British man? Just give it to me. :clack:

huh, interesting! I actually really like Breathe TV, but OG F&A will always hit :jonny4:

These two songs, especially Forever & Always, are the ones that made me fall in love with Taylor back in 2009. I remember my best friend at the time making me listen to Forever & Always for the first time, it was an instant crush. I have a special connexion with these songs so the TVs sound too different to me :dancehall:

folklore still had better longevity initially than any of her albums at the time except 1989 and Fearless, though
