LVP Posted April 24 Share Posted April 24 So I listened to the album 4 times to make my opinion about it. I loved Taylor until Midnights. She's still my second most played artist on last.fm I was disappointed with midnights being her most bland and unnecessary album. Then she followed that path with 1989 tv and now with first half of TTPD. It's not my kind of fun and there is nothing interesting for me. Some of her lyrics are very cringy (I can do it with a broken heart) and the beats are not enjoyable. Although I prefer first part than anthology. After these 4 listens I can name song s from First part while with the anthology everything sounds the same. The standout of the album is definitely I can really fix him. I think visual cohesion with Fortnight would work well. And it would fit with all the other B&W stuff this era. Idk what you mean by "minimal" though as I don't think Fortnight is that minimal.
