Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'

They truly put something in Fresh Out The Slammer. My favourite Jack production ever, it's so woozy and foreboding. Biggest grower on the ablum

All those nights you kept me going
Swirled you into all of my poems
Now we're at the starting line, I did my time

These melodiesssssss. And 'The Starting Line' connecting to The Black Dog

What songs do you guys think will be part of the TTPD set on the tour, if something like that happens?

My guess: Fortnight, Down Bad, Guilty As Sin, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, and So High School.

I Look In People's Windows is so underrated tbh. I wish it was a bit longer,  but it's such a haunting song

It's slowly working its way up the list of my favorites. It's really something new for her, Jack really delivered this time. Production is flawless.

For that We will fight with pretentious film people. The more pretentious and boring people existing on earth. Fans of ariana grande and Olivia Rodrigo were nothing honey.

I find it that Side A hits more in the morning/afternoon and Side B hits more at the end of day/night

That's easily one of my faves. The production is sublime and it perfectly captures that chilly nighttime feeling where people's windows are glowing.

FOTS is so brutal towards Joe :rip:

Constantly referring to the relationship with him as JAIL and confessing that she was writing songs about Matty the entire time.

My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys flopping is sending me, She really thought She had a solo-written hit on Her hands

It's a cute sing, but cute next to gorgeous (ie the rest of this ablum)... A lowlight.

It reminds me of This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things in that it tries to make a sassy anthemic chant out of simply far too many words, it just sounds belaboured. Need to hire Max if you want to recreate that We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together magic I fear. And while the melodies are nice, they are very Lord-on-autopilot. I appreciate that we get two very distinctive verses though

Handcuffed to the spell I was under
For just one hour of sunshine
Years of labour, locks and ceilings
In the shade of how he was feeling
But it's gonna be alright, I did my time

:deadbanana: Aaaaaa. And let's not even get into I Hate It Here
