smholiv Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I think it would make more sense for her to save it for Sydney. Most likely we're getting 4 total variants with one being announced at each new city (Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore) + the original/The Manuscript other than that I don't sense anything in the near horizon
Migs30283 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 If fortnight is the lead single, then I'm expecting a massive debut in the Hot 100. I can see going for 60-80 million streams in the US to make it 500-1,000 pts debut. 4
HappierJealousy Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Streets are saying it has the similar sound as Godver Another smash project loved by GP is coming 5 1

Best scenerio we get is mid-tempo songs with live instruments instead of synth pop. My prediction for this album is similar to red but not as loud. 2
saintjude Posted February 21 Posted February 21 So correct me if i am wrong but YLM written after midnights was completed? if so whole ttpd probably will have same sound which i really love but i hope she is not doing another synth pop... If we wasn't fooled with midnights photoshoot we could figure out the sounds of ttpd but midnights photoshoot were nowhere near with the sound of the album... if she is not playing games with the album cover this time synth pop makes no sense at all

Dear Reader Posted February 21 Posted February 21 What are the OG recordings you come back to the most? To me, the OG Red still holds a very special place in my heart. It was the era that I became a swiftie. Listening to SoG, Treacherous and All Too Well for the first time was an experience so I come back to them often. (I try not to stream it, aside IKYWT, 22 and WANEGOD) 1

joannna Posted February 21 Posted February 21 some people here are missing two things: *in Tokyo, she clearly said that she's been working on TTPD for the past two years. the project started then and she kept it as a secret. *in Melbourne, she's been talking repeatedly and incessantly about her freedom of "shifting genres" which means TTPD will probably different from Midnights 5
Bartender Posted February 21 Posted February 21 It's Joe's birthday should we expect something today?

That said, not sure if it’ll stay the same for rep TV but we’ll see 1

meredithbenson Posted February 21 Posted February 21 why do the AI songs have good (and very Taylor-esque) lyrics........
Burqa Posted February 21 Posted February 21 8 hours ago, Popboi. said: Midnights (along rep and Lover) had a lot of her fear of losing Joe, but this album will be about actually losing him, including the final months of the relationship. I do think she said she's been keeping this a secret for 2 years cause of the process starting in mid-late 2022 when she finished Midnights, not because she's been actively working on it 2 whole years. the album photoshoot for midnights was done in february 2022. i think the album was already finished back then
YellowRibbon Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I think the first track will tie directly with You're Losing Me and that whole theory of the album being about the stages that someone goes after a breakup makes so much sense to me. 1
