But I doubted Anti-Hero, so maybe I just don't have ear for hits. nn yeah I think that's a you problem My Boy is very much giving Is Is Over Now but on sonic steroids and with a percussive bassline that's going to destroy several million car speakers (positively) It's Lorde-ish in a way, but not in a way that would hamper its radio success 1 1

Midnights had a similar issue but the melodies were more memorable for me on that album tbh. I'm still buying the vinyl to support my fave but miss Swift might benefit from taking some music theory classes or something because she needs to switch up her compositions a little bit JackPop could mean the same thing.

Anyway, yeah it's probably just me, so Guilty As Sin? must be a radio flop since I want it to be the real lead single so bad.

Hobbes Posted April 18 Posted April 18 2 minutes ago, PoisonedIvy said: No, like I said, she has plenty of unique songs on this album. Yall just don't like Taylor, let's call a spade a spade. No need to try to push a false narrative! If you don't like her or her music no one is forcing you to. This album is pretty unique and explores new sonic territory for her in a majority of the songs. 1 minute ago, PoisonedIvy said: Like how am I supposed to believe you think this album "blends into each other" when there is a vast difference between loml, I Can Fix Him, But Daddy I Love Him, Florida, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.. the album is cohesive but it does not blend together at all if you take even a moment to distinguish the songs Hi hello! I'm actually a big fan of Taylor, own almost her entire catalogue on either vinyl or CD, and I'm going to the eras tour in June. BUT I'm not going to sit here and pretend I enjoyed this album. I'm also not going to listen to it on repeat so I can convince myself that it's my cup of tea. It isn't. And that's okay. Get off my ******* back. 2 1 3 2

Well I heard IION a lot but that's mostly because I check the radio to see if they're playing Taylor every time I get in the car and then turn it off if they aren't GAS? as the lead is my ultimate fantasy but I've tempered my expectations here Edited April 18 by wastedpotential 1

Taylor fanboy Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Such, A Long Song is asking to be skipped. MAYBE it's a grower. idk idk 1
Blood Magic Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I've stopped listening halfway through because I feel like the audio quality is kinda ruining my first listen. I've liked what I heard so far though.
