why is this sitting at 2.07 on rym :gaycat7:

it can't be that bad can it?

I don't take rym seriously but I went there took a look. Some user commented with "please stop making music". I got curious and went their profile. That user gave Britney's debut a 4.5. I don't think more explanation needed at this point.

Screaming but like also yes :toofunny3:

Also, the power move of intentionally snatching his sound to drag him and us and everyone else, ugh I love her

Is this an... intentional The Man reference?

But Daddy, I Love Him is the song growing on me most this morning. Jesus what an ANTHEM :jonny2:

Listening on a public park at night to But Daddy I Love Him right now, and an actual fruity Daddy approach me looking for his cat. LMAO.

Is this an easter egg?

I was listening to SP the other day and I still think it's underrated AF, it's honestly such a vibe. Maybe this album will be to my gate too.

If you can stand SP then you'll have no issue with TTPD since it has some bops. I can't believe there's people liking SP :gaycat6:

The 1989 vault tracks are some highlights in her discography, so that insult is so funny to me :rip:

I feel like this will be a lot for people to process on first listen. It will grow immensely on Swifties. Non-Swifties will hate it and not give it a second listen, which is fine because it's *not* for people who don't care about her life. The usual critics who love her will praise it highly, and the more elitist publications will really not be kind this time around even though it's objectively better than Midnights (and half of her discography really).

I adore it though, and that's all that matters to me. :celestial2:

Rep should have won over sweetemess and eternal sunshine should win over this to be honest. Im ok if this doesnt win any grammys to be honest. It it wins great if it doesnt well

Oh I will admit I was worried about her working that eclipse lyric in but... it's just easy. For such verbose and complex lyrical patterns, she works them QUITE well
