I'm waiting for it to drop tomorrow.

Listening to Midnights.

It's a good album.

Just saying, HMV had all colors for 1989TV and Midnights, this time they have only the white and clear, same with every other store I've checked, so many missing sales.

For some deranged reason, even though TTPD supposedly sounds like 1989 vault x eversnore love child, I think I'm still gonna end up loving it (or at least I'm gonna gaslight myself into loving it)

at BEST first 4 track might give 1989 vault-ish but i don't believe that also. After track 5 its all soft rock/alternative/alt-pop except broken heart which sounds like early bleachers song to me

Can anyone tell me if there are any good vocal moments or belting in any of these songs? Akin to Electric Touch I SEE TWO HEADLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTS :jonnycat:

on one hand I hate that it's literally Lover 3.0 but on the other hand this automatically has some of her best songs ever: who's afraid of little old me, i can fix him, but daddy i love him… just wow

Lover 2.0? Wow, it's not even close, connects or reminds this one, so weird is becoming in here.

That's relieving to hear. SOFT ROCK / ALT? I'M SEATED. :ryan3:

Wait now I'm scared cause I dont really care much about the 1989 vault except for SLVT! They were inspired by Bejeweled which is one of my least favs on Midnights

On first listen my fav is The Alchemy :jonnycat: it slightly reminds me of Colors by Halsey

only the first four sound like the 1989 vault/Midnights. The album shifts sounds from Track 5 forward

The only good vocal moment in the album is from Florence Welch.

Taylor is speaking/reading the whole album.

The first 5 tracks + I Can Do It With A Broken Heart sound like 1989 TV + Midnights while the rest of TTPD sound like evermore deluxe + Midnights 3AM with rock elements

I thought this was gonna be her Ray of Light but y'all have me fearing it's actually her Hard Candy :clack:

so is fortnight really the single? I feel like it's not single worthy

That's definitely an opinion. Not a correct one but an opinion nevertheless.

Haven't listened to the album yet. Did she sing anything about Joe? Is it positive or negative for him?

No I love Midnights, but the 1989 vault gave me Bejeweled energy which isnt my favorite. I love tracks like Maroon, Glitch, Dear Reader, YOYOK, Labyrinth, Mastermind, WCS, Midnight Rain, SOTB.

Suburban Legends never beating the fraud allegations I fear. I just know that **** was written during the Midnights/TTPD sessions and was thrown onto the 1989 vault last-minute :ryan3:
