It's actually where the heart of the record pulses. I'm so confused by everyone's description, but I don't want to listen yet. Is it country pop a la Speak Now/Red? Or much more laid back?
Kern Posted April 18 Posted April 18 it's mostly midtempo, very lyrics forward and attempts of humor 5

Or much more laid back? its not country. its definitely laid back for the most part, production reminds most of 1989 TV vault songs and 3am Edition of Midnights. But there's more live instrumentation for sure. 1

Mdawg Posted April 18 Posted April 18 If there is a new TTPD section at the Eras Tour they will need to get that padded room onstage expeditiously
LovaticSwiftie Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Also, can this thread not be merged with the other one with over 1000 pages? I don't know why, but now having two seperate threads gives me kind of anxiety Can't wait to listen to the album tomorrow tho 1
PoisonedIvy Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Taylor references two songs on the album, has anyone found out who they're by? She mentions "Downtown Lights" and how she hasn't heard it in awhile until he sends it to her in "Guilty as Sin," And then on "The Black Dog" she mentions a song that was intrinsically tied to her and Joe that this young girl in the bar wouldn't know when they play it, can't recall the name just yet

Rocket Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I love that she went into the studio after listening to Lana's discography and said "I'm gonna say every word she hasn't" Here I was worried about a more wordy Taylor, but it works.
evermore. Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I got so bored after the first 4 songs and had to take a break Spoiler Tracks 6-14 are hit after hit though 2
Klein Posted April 18 Posted April 18 That might be the 4th time or more that I say this, but loml into ICDIWABH truly is so wild. 1 1

Migs30283 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) Jack Antonoff produced 11 tracks while Aaron did produce 5 tracks. Louis Bell was a vocal producer in fortnight. Edited April 18 by Migs30283
Kern Posted April 18 Posted April 18 now I'm down bad, it's falling apart crying at the gym and I don't care if I sound sad
