Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'

She is too smart to make the Secret Sessions mistake again. The way everyone that got invited turned into entitled ass*holes who think they really know her. They're almost always the ones throwing under the bus for pick-me points on social media.

NOTHING grinds my gears more than the TikTok girlies with the whole "so i used to be an OG Swiftie but i cant stand her right now"

and then they go into criticizing her for not standing up for Palestine like Taylor became famous for being a CNN political correspondent. :toofunny3:

i like that he can be critical of her as a contrast to  Emily and Bonnie (Chats and Reacts) whom i love but these delulu girlies religiously worship her just like me. :ryan3:

I like that he can speak about some re-recordings being bad and not just scream "ALL TAYLOR'S VERSIONS ARE THE SAME AS ORIGINAL OR MUCH BETTER" like some deaf swifties. Like.. he checks them in different headphones while most of reactors just play it on speaker, 'cause they dgaf. Also his videos about Joe are good and he always make a deep analysis of whatever Taylor puts out, not just reacting to it. People just hate him cause he can say that some album or song is mid.

yeah I actually love the Swiftologist lol. He can be VERY annoying since he comes across as condescending sometimes but his videos are quality compared ot the other Taylor Swift channels. At least he can back up his opinions (as wrong as some of them are lol). Also his podcast is hilarious because of his co host Maddy lol. Idk..I think he is a needed voice in the social media Taylor Swift industry lol. We have waaaaaaayyyyyy too many cupcake stans. WE need someone who is a little critical of her from time to time

i loveeee his podcast, it gives a lot of insight to newish fans who weren't following her back in 1989-rep era (me), and his co-host Madeline is so funny as well

their new ep about ttpd was really good! their predictions are always interesting (and usually wrong)

Personally, I’m glad the SS are no longer a thing. I hated them so much; they were always one of my least favorite things about being a Swiftie (and no, I’m not jealous I never went to one—I never even attempted to get invited).

The way something that was supposed to be fun always turned into fans leaking album/song info (and sometimes even personal info) and being condescending pick me’s (literally).

Spoiler

Also, it really did seem like the d*mbest fans got invited, because the amount of just plain wrong descriptions and info about songs I- :deadbanana2:

And it's not like we have much else to talk about, so we fill endless numbers of pages on the mundanities (ie Swiftologist) and the minute something worth discussing actually happens the website goes down for 8 hours, and by the time it comes back up we're all over it :ryan3:

Honestly they both serve a needed purpose. The analysis videos from swiftologist touch on a lot of great topics and have a lot of great thought in the actual discussions. Chats reacts for me are for getting hyped and being delulu in a good way (and tbh they also have good insights of their own)

Never will not love Chats and Reacts, they came in the lowest point of Taylor’s career and flourished, a certain folklore bandwagoner can’t relate (Idc they’re the OG or not :gaycat2:)

One thing about Chats and Reacts that I will always love is that they're freakishly able to figure out exactly what a song is about like 90 seconds into their first listen (even the ones where it really isn't obvious what they're about)

there are plenty of better choices over swiftologist, either you want some critical opinions or you need some insights as a newish swiftie. (I don't exactly know about the YouTube ones so I won't recommend tho)

Not to mention those ''deserving AOTY'' videos :rip:
