It's so good!!!! She finally made an album full of my favorite genre, dream pop.

I prayed she would do something similar to her covers of Can't Stop Loving You & Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow & she finally did it with TTPD :clap3:

Thank you.

folklore and evermore are instant classics to me, so I can't understand why I can't get into this album quickly enough.

But I will keep listening

It's harder to "connect" because truthfully this is the most densely packed her lyrics have ever been. It's almost hard to figure out the emotions she's trying to convey, but as you pick up lyrics and submerge yourself into the productions more and more, it's a ******* rollercoaster full of unbelievable thrills.

Yes, the lyrics are so profound that you need to truly contemplate them.

I kinda get why there are only a few songs about Joe on this album. In a way she already made her Joe breakup album with Midnights so there wasn't really much left for her to say. Just So Long London as a gorgeous goodbye to that realtionship and then Fresh Out The Slammer explaining why she went for Matty and then the rest is about that new relationship's quick rise and fall.

Yeah theres not a big maximalist "pop" moment here… the closest we get is I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.

But even as a diehard 1989 apologist… I can't be mad because the songs are amazing.
