So do we only have The Black Dog version? I'm curious as to what the other songs will sound like. It's one of the best songs on the album.

Sorry, but The Black Dog's lyrics are so ambiguous. It could literally be about Matty or Joe.

And i'm siding towards Rat unfortunately :deadbanana2: Joe doesn't use social media, why would she be able to snapchat location stalk him.

The Black Dog

Spoiler

I am someone who until recent events you shared your secrets with and your location you forgot to turn it off And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog and pierce new holes in my heart you forgot to turn it off And it hits me, I just don't understand

How you don't miss me in The Black Dog when someone plays the starting line And you jump up but she's too young to know this song that was intertwined in the magic fabric of our dreaming Old habits die screaming

I move through the world with a heart broken My longings stay unspoken and I may never open up the way I did for you And all of those best laid plans, you said I needed a brave man Then proceeded to play him until I believed it too And it kills me, I just don't understand

How you don't miss me in the shower And remember how my rain soaked body was shaking, do you hate me? Was it hazing for a cruel fraternity I pledged And I still mean it, old habits die screaming

Six weeks of breathing clean air, I still miss the smoke Were you making fun of me with some esoteric joke Now I wanna sell my house and set fire to all my clothes And hire a priest to come and exorcise my demons Even if I die screaming And I hope you hear it

And I hope it's shitty in The Black Dog when someone plays the starting line And you jump up but she's too young to know this song That was intertwined in the tragic fabric of our dreaming Cause tail between your legs you're leaving

I still can't believe it Cause old habits die screaming

I'm just now realizing that I can finally add Taylor to my favorite personal playlist ever, which is my playlist of synth pop music from a few 2015/2016 albums (The 1975's I like it when you sleep and Carly's Emotion Side B for example) and music from laters that sounds like them, oh my ******* god :jonny2:

it's like this album was made for me and I don't know what to do with that anymore now that the initial excitement is passing into deeper feeling, like I'm tearing up to ******* Fortnight of all songs

What songs do you think sound like them? What songs do they sound similar to?

All Born Screaming is taking it... the way everyone is praising this album :celestial4:i wouldn't be surprised if it ends winning AoTY

So there are five stages of grief and somehow it all sounds the same.

Florida is the only song that has caught my attention so far, I need to read the lyrics to judge the album tho

Btw went through early pages Hives and Arianators tried so hard to make us believe album is bad

Thank god now I can see actual reaction from Swifties

I won't listen now but I am happy that people actually love it
