1. Dear Reader

2. Lavender Haze

3. Anti-Hero

4. Hits Different

5. Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve

6. Midnight Rain

7. Karma

8. Maroon

And suddenly you have a much better album…

Dear Reader as the opening track and Mids wouldve only opened with an 100M debut instead :suburban:

Sis, Glitch could have been track 1 and she’d still have opened with huge numbers.

:suburban:

I think Dear Reader works as beautifully as an intro - sort of like a manifesto for the rest of the album that she’s an unreliable narrator.

It sets up Lavender Haze nicely as a follow up track.

And yeah, it works as a closer too but You’re On Your Own Kid is just too perfect an outro.

I aspire it to flop

I want her most memorable male collab remains to be the one with Bon Iver

I honestly think it won’t be the lead nn so it’ll just be another smash album track for Miss Swift, or a decent-sized second/third single

:suburban:

Side-note that I still can’t believe she managed to send a post-album single to #2 during the streaming era, and keep that same song top 10 for 8 weeks without any questionable tricks. Let’s hope the same happens with something from TTPD.

The way I couldn't think of any fillers on Midnights, but only because I forgot that Question/Vigilante ****/Sweet Nothing even existed. :suburban:

Those other two sure, but I don't know about that one :deadbanana4:

Girl I-

Are you even a fan if you want her music to flop?

Exile was going to be an all-time classic but it definitely seems that August has stolen its thunder in the intervening years. I can't say I'm too mad, since it cuts Joe's monthly income PLUS Justin Vernon ended up siding with Jobless during the Toe divorce, and I am a spiteful fan:suburban:

When TTPD is full of songs like Glitch / Labyrinth / Mastermind, where the songs are completely melodyless and just sounds like she’s trying to read out as many words as possible, even more lifeless than a National Geographic narration, then what? :suburban:

GODrinth should never be compared to those duds :biblio:

Exile will find its way to be viral on TikTok years ahead :cm:

Also stop disrespecting Joe like that

She didn't write Happiness for y'all to be bitter than her about her own past

.

.

.

Anyway, my prediction is Fortnight will sound like Better Now

The catchy Pop-Rock/Rap that will challenge Ready For It's throne

We all know how much Taylor loves that song

She praised it at BBMA, she chanted it yesterday

I think TTPD will serve as lead

Track 2 never disappoints

Rumor on the street is that she dumped that man with a 40 word email and then made him sign an NDA, I owe him no respect :deadbanana4:

And as for Happiness, surely you're aware that it was written about Abigail and her first failed marriage, right? :cm:

Another unexpected male collab as the lead, for a Toe based album?:suburban:

Anyway i wonder how hard BM regrets not listening to her masters demands, & signing her again. Cuz when Lover TANKED, Scott must've laughed, only for Miss Swift to output multiple consecutive albums that opened in the millions @ a GLEE pace :deadbanana2:

Exile is so overrated, thankfully August is shaping up to be the Cruel Summer of folklore.

It is needed for some parts of the album to contain Slvt! lush and lavish atmosphere. :beatfreak:

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart must be a highlight. :duca:

Also, Dear Reader is Midnights highlight, for sure, but it also works best out of all her closers apart from evermore, but even then, we have bonus tracks, so yeah, Dear Reader is thee closing track. Hopefully, Poets follow in a sense that she has followed her own advice from that song and now pursues different kind of template. :heart2:

hope she worked with different producers for this album, getting bored of jacks production. 1989 vault was produced too alike to Midnights I think
