Well yes!

Beats are a very important element in song creation. And it seems to be a very very common complaint, without a good beat the melody suffers.

and if you just have lyrics, that's just spoken poetry (and not even good poetry this go around)

Let's try harder to rebuttal next time!

:coffee2:

Once again, this is an opinion of someone who fundamentally doesn't get what the overall appeal of Taylor is, and that's fine!

You're going to have to be more specific. There have been multiple :suburban:

mmmm but why be specific when it might be applicable to more than one:suburban:

I blame Jason Kelce for making her a little too happy

There's some great beats and melodies in here, though. Guilty as Sin has a classic Michelle Branch-esque driving chorus and sexy vibe. Down Bad is an angry little bop. I Can Do It With a Broken Heart dabbles a tiny bit in hyperpop.

It's not all just lyrics, there's just a lot going on here.

That's what I exactly thought when I heard Guilty as Sin – a Michelle Branch song. :WAP:

I still can't believe a 6 year relationship inspired less emotion than a 6 week one. I hate her so much.

She sounds more in love, & more heartbroken, on the Matty songs :deadbanana2:

Did you not see me compliment her last lyrics? I obviously have liked her music in the past.

Me not liking everything she releases is not me not getting her as an artist.

You're being delusional
