Theluckyone Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) I think max overproduced most of the tracks with Taylor, especially on rep. Sure, he made gems like IKYWT and style with her- but I think she’s good with antonoff for now. Edited February 12 by Theluckyone
ATRL Moderator bluebirdsforever Posted February 12 ATRL Moderator Posted February 12 Her and Max ran their course creatively in the same way a lot of people think her and Jack did. Also, side note, a pet peeve of mind is when people see a "pop" producer and automatically think that it means an album/song is pop: one of three songs Louis Bell last produced for Taylor literally sounded like this. Her producers follow her, not the other way around. Even Jack alone produced this, this and this within the course of a few months. 2
19SLAYty9 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I think in 2024 Jack can do what Max’s strengths were between 2012-2017 just as well. LH, Maroon, AH, and Karma all sound like songs Max could’ve produced in 2024 if he still had the touch he had between 2012-2017. The vocal production ESPECIALLY.
RadioactiveLights Posted February 12 Posted February 12 If this isn't like folklore or evermore, I hope it's at least like Red. But I've kind of given up with guessing genres because nearly all her pop albums don't match the artwork's vibe.
every1blinks Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I don’t think Taylor understands that I’m READY to spend money on the variants, where are they ma

It's gonna be insane now, in March you have Ariana, Kasey, Justin, Beyonce and then Taylor (and I'm sure Due right after). I hope they (especially B) won't steal her thunder. We need to get the momentum back with some variants!
enchanted0 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 The way she will expose folklore and its "imaginary" stories BS in this album.. 1

Klein Posted February 12 Posted February 12 So, the Taylor/Travis/NFL saga was a kiki, but I'm happy it's over. Mama can now concentrate on the music. 1 3

wastedpotential Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Anyway, for those of y'all who watched their first Super Bowl last night, any fun thoughts or opinions?
Dear Reader Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Not even Taylor made me watch the Super bowl, I’m sorry 1 5

It’s nice to have all these other artists releasing, actually, because we can lay to rest the silly “no competition!!1!1!1!1” narratives. There isn’t a single thing that could steal the thunder from a new Taylor Swift album during the era of Swift Mania. Edited February 12 by Holiest Dreams 1

Yeah, I think everyone getting their flowers and having their moment before Hurricane Taylor comes through would be great. I truly can’t see anyone getting through to the Spotify #1 for a few months after TTPD, unless Drake or Bad Bunny release again If there’s one thing we don’t have to worry about, it’s that TTPD will be the biggest release of any near competition by a long shot. 3

Max production is A LOT richer than Jacks. Jack and Taylor made her best material but her work with Max was so much more consistent 5 1
