That said…TTPD a combination and expansion of 1989 and Midnights, while lyrically it's the big sister of Folklore. A very well put together, cohesive, albeit raw project that will hopefully start the conversation about her being one of the greatest songwriters and composers of all time. This is gonna break Adele's 25 record and she will keep working with Hack forever since ppl just massbuy the album before they even hear 1 second of music Edited April 17 by TaylenaStan 1
Blue Rose Posted April 17 Posted April 17 well it's over. Even though I felt like I've heard every song before, I liked this more than Midnights. It's hard to predict the single because nothing really stands out in a unique way. Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me could work as a lead imo. Overall cute and very safe, just as expected 7/10

enchanted0 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 2 minutes ago, pinkbowvintage said: This is exactly the sound I expected from this album....this depressed, angry, slightly muted, cynical, bitter, angsty psychedelic synth-pop/soft rock with incredible driving choruses and bridges and lots of camp and humor. I'm so happy. 1 minute ago, Ryan said: I really hope this is the last album that is majority produced by Jack. omrimayo Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I'm happy with everything I swear, I can live with the CP line, but please can we switch the lead? It's annoys me!! It's so gonna flop and I don't need that.
Jaguarqueef Posted April 17 Posted April 17 35 minutes ago, Nintendoes said: Florida is the only good song in the entire album. It's probably due to the fact that Florence saved the song from being mid. !!! This is the worst album of hers. Just because it's a heartbreak album doesn't mean the album needs to be so monotone. There's a plethora of emotions one feels in heartbreak: anger, resentment, depression, spitefulness, euphoria, Deja Vu, etc. 1 1

Life Savers Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I won't listen until it's out but ATRL HATED Midnights chicken, so if they think Poets is mid it means it's a masterpiece

Gonna keep shoving it down my throat even though it sounds like MIDnights reject and MIDnights itself was a reject she's been diggin the vaults for so long that her whole studio life is about rejected productions now she needs to burn that synth keyboard along with jack in it. start fresh queen, stop diggin 6
