Also Jack and Aaron are definitely her musical soulmates and a lot of you really got to stop lying to yourselves about Jack and Her not being great together

Anyway I think it's gorgeous and understated, already a contender for the top 3 for me. A culmination of her melodic sensibilities and her matured songwriting :clap3:

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart is amazing. It's mastermind / suburban legends but better.

Title Track - lyrics are a bit "high school AP Lit student" core but I'm a fan otherwise.

The saddest part is when you can tell Aaron wrote a song with her and when she wrote with Jack

i'm on my third listen through and it's just if taylor was doing her take on dance fever/tunnel... like once you get past the initial batch of midnights synth-y stuff there's so much experimentation, live instrumentation/band vibes, stream of consciousness, indie alt girl on a small label feels.

I'm out of reactions but I'm completely living for you enjoying this so much

Lets not drag the lyrics now, it's the thing that lifts Hack's tired synths up, while it tries so hard to drag them down:ryan3:

They're AP Lit yes, but they're not try hard & unswiftian, like The Lakes.
