NEX Posted April 30 Share Posted April 30 (edited) I really want to enjoy But Daddy I Love Him. It has some of her most interesting and unique lyrics, but that production is so so bad I'm sorry. It just trudges along, so muddy and muted and lifeless, even when it tries to be exiting. And it's like she's singing behind a screen. It needed clear, more minimal, live instrumentation that complemented the lyrics instead of drowning them.
