Easy, lack of taste of the GP.

Spoiler

Her top 2 should be Wildest Dreams + Dear John. The OG version, not the TV

Lover was her last traditional era with lots of irl promo, two pre album singles, an album release single, a single to close the era and an unexpected smash down the road. All of which extended the lifespan of the album

Her new strategy guarantees more hype and a bigger climax upon album's release (which has proven to be massively successful) but it comes at a cost of everything sorta smashing all at once and then being overshadowed by the one song that comes out on top

I think it's because every other Lover single is viewed negatively in the fanbase :dies: I personally love The Man

It's a shame how much the TVs affect this even though they're a net positive. Remember so many of her biggest classics have split streams now.

HOWEVER, CS and Lover are stone cold classics and deserve those spots.

The TVs undercut 1989 so BS and WD don't have a shot.  Lover also has her most recent single.  The fact that Lover (s) is doing so well is a little surprising though.  I guess you can't keep a classic down.

her last three albums "only" had one hit per album, right?
I know many songs charted but the  real hits were the leads, imo.

Well if Willow is the threshold for hit, then karma and August probably qualify.

Lover is a true classic that will probably be her most remembered song due to it being a perfect wedding song. Cruel Summer is deadly addictive.

Pretty much all of her biggest hits at this point have their daily streams split in half between the 2 versions, which really helps Lover. If everything was combined, Blank Space & Style would probably both be in the top 3 instead

bc there are some good GP friendly songs on there, at the cost of it being her most uneven and inconsistent album

lover is a very up and down album, it has some truly bad songs and then some absolutely amazing one's. those deserve their time to shine :gaycat4:
