Why should I double down on that behaviour when that has never even in the slightest been a cause for a ban in the first place? It's a pop music forum about discussions. It's not "beefing" just because you don't agree with my takes. Especially when half of those Taylor threads incorporate Adele's name. I mean what exactly is me sharing my opinion on a subject any different from you disagreeing with it? The fact that you took your time to do research on my account because you what? Didn't like that I don't like Taylor? Like what is this even. Again, nothing I've said in any of those threads you mentioned warrants any ban whatsoever nor do I attack any Swifties. The "attacks" are the ones thrown at me for my opinions on her if anything. There's nothing to move on from because of some mod on here who probably is a Swiftie hands out bans for freedom of speech, for literally NOT breaking any rules. And you of all people should not talk since how you spoke about artists in that "free-for-all" thread with disgusting language that put-together is more vile and vicious than anything I have ever posted. So glass-houses sis. Anyways, this is a forum meant to discuss pop stars and their music and accomplishments. Do you expect to start a thread about Taylor Swift and just have everyone raving and agreeing with everything you say? Is that what you expect. Again, nothing I post or "argue" about is anything controversial or worth "banning" but the fact that some users DO get banned for it tells you that vast mod-examination needs to be studied. And I'm talking about the countless users who have presumably been banned for no reason whatsoever as well. And when you get banned for having a dupe account while not having one means that mod needed a label to put on their unwarranted and unfair banning so they went with that. Anyways, nothing I have said or continue to say is anything ban-worthy so you just continue to do you and stop following my every move and I continue to do what this board is ultimately designed for: to discuss (whether positive or negative) pop artists and their accomplishments. Are you sure you're not banned because you are poking into every single Taylor thread and pretending to be stanning every artists that made it big the last 10 years so that you could have a say in something? And that's based on what you did on an (apparently extra) account created this month. Who knows what else you did too. This level of spitefulness needs to be quarantined, full stop. It was about that user claiming Taylor is on Michael's level commercially. That's incorrect and there's nothing wrong with that. Well obviously she couldn't be on MJ's level cus no one is, but fact is she that has records that matches his or even overtaken him, and will (probably) surpass him in total sales within a quick few years, puts her amount the top 5-10 biggest artist ever to have existed already. I suppose I should've seen why some of you are so worked up over her. This is why. 2

Whoa....Calmate mija. There's no need for this jumbled up wall of text bringing up a whole bunch of things that don't apply to me. My post was actually very balanced and giving credit to both MJ and Taylor. I was just being fairly neutral discussing both of their music careers without jumping to hyperbole or saying some exaggerated stuff like "Billie Jean is bigger than Taylor's whole career!" or "Folklore clears MJ's entire discography!" There's certainly things you can criticize Taylor for. But you can't just expect everyone to accept your opinion as the absolute truth with no discussion or disagreement. That goes for any pop star or music act. Edited April 27 by Storm653 6
dumbsparce Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) I wonder if this will be her peak sales-wise. She sold an extra 1 million than the last time.. there's not much room for growth left after the massive 2023 she's had but at the same time the same thing has been said about her many times before. Edited April 27 by dumbsparce 2
bluemoonstar Posted April 27 Posted April 27 She doesn't reach peaks she just builds bigger mountains
MatiRod Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Mj's 90s albums did like 350k first week, why is he even being brought up here? No shade 3
Michael196 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 The audacity to still question Taylor's power and use the streaming excuse after the insane consistency she showed with the first two albums. Also, it's hilarious using streaming against her, now that she mastered and demolished everyone in that field after using it to drag her a few years ago, when will these people learn their lesson. 14
itsjem Posted April 27 Posted April 27 2M pure sales in 2024 AND 671k streaming units... I see why some of you are all worked up plus the biggest tour of all time still ongoing 1
Dear Reader Posted April 27 Posted April 27 the essays on the last page Imagine being so full of hate towards someone you don't know that you're writing paragraphs about them on a Friday night. OT: Yay Taylor, yay success 5
allforyou Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I haven't listened the album yet but damn 2.6 million units in 2024 is amazing I'm happy that the album is doing well cause it's great for the entire music industry for a record to sell this much in this day and age 1
hungrymuffin Posted April 27 Posted April 27 that user should forever be banned and the obsession with an artist they hate is truly alarming you dont see the oths being called out for their unhinged behaviour OT: massive debut continue to make the haters fumed

liam13 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 imagine being BANNED twice for hating the same artist 2.6M in 2024 is truly insane but i was given false hope by that one gaga stan in the album thread. he should be held accountable tbh 6
Mr. Duff Posted April 27 Posted April 27 2.6m, insane. I'm so happy for Taylor and for this record. Her magnum opus indeed. I hope this pulls a lot of longevity like Midnights. What an amazing album. 1

This is not only good news for Taylor, her team and the swifties, but this will benefit every single artist cause investors will think there's still money to be made in this industry. That's why they will keep giving her AOTY even if the OTH seethe cause she's singlehandedly saving the industry. 2
