Maybe put this behind a spoiler. It is after all footage of a dead man bleeding after being shot and it's relevant to the thread of course but not everyone may wish to see that.

Awful. There's no label yet so I guess I'll hold my opinion for now.

Fuvking awful. But what else to expect from Sydney? As a mid eastern guy I been there and felt unsafe myself. Flooded with terrorists and it was so easy to tell yet the government does NOTHING about it.

Here's to another wave racism for the next 10 years because of awful people like this pig.

Huh

I live in Sydney. Bondi is mostly a white district

I do think the terrorist came from another suburb though

I checked the Aus news but it says nothing about an "Islamist terorrist" yet?

Yeah I meant the western side of Sydney ( i think). Which is where I went when I visited Sydney.

Expect more events like this happening in the near future, since the government does nothing to prevent it.

aus police is careful with labelling things like this - and for good reason. i would encourage everyone to just wait and see what the authorities conclude before jumping to premature conclusions about the motivation of this attacker

Same for me. I mean he could indeed be an Islamic terrorist but it has not yet been verified. And not all attacks are religion derived regardless where his ancestry might be from.

OT: R.I.P to the victims. Nobody should go through this. It's crazy and borderline evil to kill, traumatize and injure random strangers who were just passing by. I hope we never have to endure something like this.

You're correct but people have been saying like the tweet I linked and others which is why I wrote 'apparently'

The only way these people would care is for a politician to be a victim. Nothing will be done otherwise.
