Hatsune Miku ignites controversy at Coachella

Hatsune Miku is THE main virtual pop girl and has been giving us live performances for over a decade

Miku has recently kicked off the North American leg of her tour in Vancouver. This was meant to make up for all the performances that were canceled in 2020, including a highly anticipated Coachella performance.

Miku is known for her holographic performances, so imagine the shock of her fans when she performed on an OLED screen for the first time. Many have theorized that the projector must have been sent to Coachella ahead of time, meaning that any stop before Coachella would feature an OLED screen instead of a hologram. It's shady, but at least it's temporary, right?

here's Miku at Coachella

is this the end for Miss Miku?

the side shot :rip: that's really unfortunate for HM fans. i don't understand why they booked the gig when being 3D is her whole thing.

the poor fans. why did they even bring Miku there if they can't serve the full experience. this is Coachella, they should give 110% to get the hologram going

they must have accidentally put the hologram on Lana's stage instead of Miku's :gaygacat5:
