Imagine if she had big record label support with complete creative control. ahhh, one can dream Nice Life really needs to step up their pu**y game up and bring in some investors or additional support. They should be pushing her at least as hard as TDE is pushing Doechii (which has been long overdue). In fact, they realistically need to push even harder. Megan's distro deal didn't quite have the impact many expected it to. Do you think getting a major distributor would help? Or perhaps partnering with the biggest independent distributor? I want her to maintain complete creative control, but we also need Roc Nation to be booking her everywhere, landing major endorsement deals, and having a strong distributor to push her music. Her team did a good job booking Dick clack NYE, but they need to aim even higher in 2025 and more. Partnering with a major distributor and securing more investors could make a huge difference as well. She can be indie queen if they play this right or the very least leave the Khia asylum. holyground13 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I wasn't feeling this record that much initially but it's growing on me a lot - I much prefer it to BB/Angel. The sonic template is very pretty. I'm looking forward to her first ever Irish show next month - it'll be third time seeing her which is wild when I think of how a few years back I wasn't sure if I'd ever see her live. 3
nuclear Posted January 7 Posted January 7 She is killing it in Australia. It is very interesting how 8/9 years ago she had to cancel the Joyride tour over there and now selling out the same venues after doing 6 festivals dates. Her next tour in Australia/NZ should be very cute with potential for her to do some decent venues and potential mid size venues if can score another hit. I hope she do tour Asia and milk Asia and couple Brazil dates + festivals. If she continues growing her fanbase as she have been, she may not do big venues but she could become a very profitable touring act worldwide. So proud of her. 5

Well considering she tour NYC 3 times last year, I don't think she cared. Beside SK and philippines, I think she could sellout shows in Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia and possible Malaysia too. I don't even think Japan is even in her top 5 countries in Asia. She might still do them for third iteration of the tour but I feel she could have squeezed them this tour and after she complete trilogy and she could do a big (for her standard) world tour to conclude the era. 1

South Korea (a 4K-6K venue alongside festival dates) should be fine, as well as the Philippines and Indonesia. I think she's safe in those markets, but I agree that everything else should stick to festivals. I really hope her team isn't that incompetent and manages to book her for all the big festivals worldwide, especially in places she hasn't toured or likely couldn't pull off a proper headlining show. As for the album, she mentioned being 30% done and plans to hit the studio after her Japan dates. Unless her team hires a reliable third-party team, things will probably remain a mess. It would be nice to see her and her team coordinate and execute things better, but I don't think a proper, well-organized release will happen anytime soon. For now, she just needs to focus on collaborations and releasing singles until the album is complete which, realistically, might not happen until late summer. This is especially true if her team manages to secure those festival dates and televised gigs. 2

Alex Posted January 8 Posted January 8 does anyone know if she's still doing soundchecks for the Europe leg VIP or have those also been switched to meet and greets?
Lachlan Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Saw her last night in Sydney and WOW, she's such a performer. Setlist was hit after hit, crowd even loving the album tracks. The energy from the first song among the crowd was so good. 8

When she shouted out us OGs before Party Favors it hit me that she's transformed so much over the last decade I've been following her. Whilst not my fav fav anymore, I still think she's amazing and was so lucky to have witnessed her live last night! Hope you had a great time! 5 1
willmcclure9 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) Saw her for the first time in Melbourne on Tuesday, as a long time stan who missed out on the Aquarius tour here due to being underage, this was such a dream come true I wish she didn't cut so many songs short and wished she spoke with the audience a little more, but overall it was fantastic, god her music is just so good The Gravity x Superlove moment wsa for the real SweeTees Edited January 9 by willmcclure9 5
crf13 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Can't help but wonder how she, her home, and her family's home are doing amidst the wildfires. I know she's in Australia, but I can't even imagine how scary it must be for her to across the world while constantly wondering if her home area in California is burning down. 3

She did mention the whole breakdown during her cross that line video premiere event the bigger question is did she really officially name this "BABY" era???

Watching her perform felt like reliving the highlights of the 2000s VMAs and BET Awards—so nostalgic yet still fresh and current. It's sad that she's not included in the 'best performer alive' conversations. If the general public and award shows gave her a fair chance, she could easily become an iconic performer. Too bad they continue to overlook her talent. He's been holding onto those songs for well over a year now. I wonder if he still plans to release them in the near future. Do we know any names of the songs titles she created with them ?

matthado Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) I saw her in Sydney the other night. A pretty good concert. I was happy I got to finally see her live as a main act as she is one of my favs. She dedicated Party Favors to her day ones. I was so happy I got to hear the song live. No Broke Boys goes off live, I still do not understand how this has not smashed, or had some minor success. Overall, she brings the energy. I wish we got to hear more of Superlove, but oh well. She started at 9pm and finished around 10:10pm. Hopefully her and her family homes are ok. Edited January 10 by matthado 3

I think her original plan was to do a mini tour for each act when there were only two acts. However, a lot has changed since then. I believe she'll go on another tour later this year after Act 3 is released. I also think she'll wrap up this 'baby era' by the end of the year and possibly embark on a bigger tour, a major world tour (by her standards, of course). during which she might visit more places. It's likely she's planning to include additional destinations in the third iteration. After the European leg, she'll have plenty of time to finish the project, and hopefully, Act 3 will be a summer album. I hope visit all the places she hasn't before. I'm hoping Nasty was just her "All Hands on Deck" and her 2 On moment will come with Act 3. Since it seems like she's only ' allowed to get a couple hits every decade (as per her industry contract), I'm crossing my fingers that her " Jealous remix" and her "All My Friends" will come as well at the very least.
