Hopefully 🤞 it's a #1 peak on hot100 and not a #99 peak.

I just saw that Wild side and Nasty are less than 10 million streams from each other on Spotify, I was shock. I am not saying Nasty is bigger than wild side at all or comparing their success. I was very surprise since the former has a Cardi b feature, major label backing, VMA performance, millions dollar video, hype, industry support, came out nearly 3 years before nasty. I was shock. Also looking at the biggest female R&B hits (Victoria, munilong)of the past few years that so had so much more promotion, major labels backing, industry support and time. Victoria and munilong were pushing these song for a whole year.Nasty not that far behind, at least on Spotify (the difference might be bigger on Apple and sales). Still that was very interesting.

In summary she should have milked nasty a lot more. I don't even think she really milked nasty.

I don't believe this account's sales updates are actually accurate (for any artist they post about), however, let's just say for hypotheticals this is true.. then, surely, 2 On and All Hands On Deck are due for some certification updates along with their parent album.  If SFY recently scanned 100k, then, how much has Aquarius sold in a decade since we last received a sales update?

I can maybe understand Gold certification (even that is a stretch especially since it didn't do that well on digital sales), but Platinum? I don't think so, especially since it only has 42+ million streams on Spotify. Maybe they meant AHOD (closest one). It's a shame that RCA will probably never update Tinashe's certifications. For example, "2 On" should already be 4× Platinum—or it will be by next year. The song is on track to cross 500 million streams on Spotify soon (early next year) and should surpass 1 billion total streams across all platforms—a total smash.

"All Hands on Deck" should be Platinum, while "Player," "Lean On Me," and "Throw a Fit" deserve at least Gold certifications. As for Aquarius, it should definitely be Gold by now. The album has over 670 million streams on Spotify alone, and when you factor in other platforms and sales, it should at least be close to Gold certification in the U.S.

As an era Aquarius has over 730-750 million streams on Spotify if you count all remixes.

They probably meant to say Pretend made a profit of 1,000,000 Yen.

Fun fact: If it weren't for SZA, 2 On would have been in the top 10 of the most-streamed female R&B songs of this generation on Spotify. It's comparable to some of the biggest tracks from artists like H.E.R., Kehlani, Jhené Aiko, Summer Walker, and others.

need someone to gaslight tf out of rca to get them to update her certifications. i feel like they'd do it to be petty in a "she was more successful with us" type of way.

either way, i hope 2025 is an even better year for her.

She needs to be booking more mainstage performance slots because she is IT she is a combination of all that's best and explored potential of Janet, Britney and Ciara

She's a superstar, and no other girl can truly compete with her. Watching her perform felt like reliving the highlights of the 2000s VMAs and BET Awards—so nostalgic yet still fresh and current. It's sad that she's not included in the 'best performer alive' conversations. If the general public and award shows gave her a fair chance, she could easily become an iconic performer. Too bad they continue to overlook her talent.

He's been holding onto those songs for well over a year now. I wonder if he still plans to release them in the near future.
