nuclear Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 (edited) If her team wasn't dumb (speculating they didn't officially send nasty to urban radio and really push it on urban radio) and they send it when they were supposed. Nasty would probably be bigger than all of those songs and probably be the biggest R&B song this year. Probably/maybe we would not be having these discussions Edited November 9, 2024 by nuclear 1

Why does it seem like she just hates SFY? She doesn't hate SFY. The 333 tour she did both albums. She eventually got tired of performing those songs. She still performing Save room for us and linkup. Most of the setlist is her baby trilogy songs which make sense. I hope she expand the length of the tour so she can perform more songs. 15 hours ago, rebeltwat said: How do we like/dislike the tour girls? It is now amazing. It is great. Could be a longer, she is still doing 110 minutes show and she needs a live band. Beside that I think it is a great tour, especially now. Edited November 9, 2024 by nuclear 1
rockwitu08 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Her tour in Boston was so much fun. I'm glad she didn't mention the election and just gave us fans an hour to destress. I was 2 on the whole night which I highly suggest lmao the show ran super smooth, she was on time, she sounded great and looked great… regardless of the messy era she still loves what she does and it's really evident in the show 1

I remember her talking about how pop radio refused to play her songs after that photoshoot with Travis Scott and deemed her "too urban" and this was literally like as recent as 8 years ago but she never panders to the urban community because her singles always are generally too "pop" so she's in this weird space. Rhythmic, despite being her bread and butter, unfortunately isn't enough. I think times have definitely changed (hopefully) when it comes to genre marketing so if she's hellbent on pandering to Pop (i mean Ricky Reed alone...) then she should really try and get her face out there again. Not sure why it didn't happen with Nasty and NBB but yeah. Nasty is clearly not a pop radio friendly song. That's why it stalled at #25. While it was in the #40's for months at urban from a handful of stations that supported it despite it not being officially serviced there. If it got sent to Urban Radio the weekly total audience would've doubled & it could've out-charted 2 on. 2

That's what makes not servicing it at urban despite it charting for weeks even more infuriating. Like why do a tyga & Chlöe remix if your going for Pop crossover Chile Edited November 10, 2024 by Tinashebanks

They could literally invent couple artists and producers and knock it out in couple of weeks. Too bad it will never happen for numerous reasons but Daft punk would be her best bet . I wonder if she and her team could get her on a single with Fred again, still a delusional wish, as well as David Guetta. Her best option is Flume (what happened to all the songs they worked on?) and Kaytranada. Black coffee with another Afrobeat artist has potential as well. If She can manage to score a proper collab with Fred again (Pop/House song), Flume ( AltPop&R&B/ electronic song ) , Black Coffee ( Pop/R&B/ Afro house song) and an ep/baby album with kaytranada, she will be fine. She should do more big house /dance/electronic ft for part 3. I really hope she serves us SFY leanings album at some point. Base on what Rick reed said I think they leaning towards that either next part or following projects. 1

nuclear Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 (edited) She needs to milk Asia (especially china, Philippines and SK) this tour. This could be her first tour to sell over 100K tickets if she milk Asia. If she can manage a collab with a K-pop artist/group before end of the year. She could literally be one of the biggest R&B artist over there. She should milk Australia a little bit more too. All of this could really help with booking big festivals dates next year and move her up on the bill. She need to use Asia to inflate her ticket sales. Couple Brazilian dates would help as well. matthado Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I got tickets to see her in Sydney with three friends. I am so glad she scheduled Sydney last, as I am away for NYE/NY and literally come back into the country a day before the concert. Should be a good night. I saw her earlier this year at a music festival and she put on such a performance. 1

rebeltwat Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I was at her show Sunday night and it was incredible!! My only complaint was the setlist could've used a couple more high energy tracks but overall it was an amazing time. Thirsty live was such a moment. The show really made me appreciate QB a lot more. 2

I was supposed to fly to LA last year and see her with Shyg*rl but that obvi got messed up, and the BBANG3L tour was only east coast. I don't know why she's cutting half of BBA during this tour, I just want Tightrope! I've only been able to see her once during 333 era, but I don't think Throw a Fit, X, Link Up and AHOD all need to take up space in 2024. Plus Quantum Baby still hasn't grown on me . If my roommate still wants to go I'm sure I'll have a fine time
willmcclure9 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 My UO vinyl arrived today and its stunning Tbh I want the blue/orange/brown one as well, I would've bought it if it had a different cover art
crf13 Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 She confirmed at last night's soundcheck that the next video has been shot, edited, and will probably be out next month. She played coy when the fan asked if it's Thirsty. 1 1
