Tinashe - 'QUANTUM BABY'

yeah I really hope she snatches some noms and a performance slot after being paid dust for so many consecutive years... how 333 wasn't nommed in the Prog R&B category still irks me...

I ended up copping a resale ticket for Brooklyn ($72). I'm satisfied paying that price. I'm going alone so if there are any Sweet-Ts who wanna link up, lmk!

just realized that even tho the show at the greek tonight won't be sold out, it still might be her biggest single solo show ever?

Didn't see anyone talk about it but she added SRFU to the setlist last night. Everything about last night's show was so much better than opening night.

I agree!  I was at last night's show and l her energy as well as the audience's energy was in top form.  The addition of "Save Room For Us" was a great moment in the set.  She sounded great last night, the mic was definitely on.  As far as the pacing of the show, it does go by rather quick.  She doesn't have many talking points in the show aside from right before the encore.  But overall an amazing show!

Aquarius received an animated cover on Apple Music. It's gorgeous! They did a great job! This cover fits the album so well, but then, again, so did the original one. They really picked the best two shots out of the whole album photoshoot. Now if only we could get the rest of the album in Dolby Atmos besides just 2 On.

All her albums under RCA need to be done :emofish:

Soul Glitch in Dolby format would be an absolute experience.

Billboard predicting Prog R&B and R&B song nominations.

Decent chance of winning either if nominated because of comeback/indie/overdue narrative. Plus it's got the most non-r&b crowd appeal so will benefit from others suffering from vote splitting. E.g. Sza vs Bey and Alex Isley vs Paak/Nxworries

Prog R&B:

Terrace Martin & Alex Isley (I Left My Heart In Ladera)

- Tinashe (Quantum Baby)

- NxWorries (Why Lawd?)

- Hiatus Kaiyote (Love Heart Cheat Code)

- Childish Gambino (Bando Stone and The New World)

R&B Song:

- "Saturn" (SZA)

- "Because I Love You" (Halle)

- "That's You" (Lucky Daye)

- "Nasty" (Tinashe)

- "Tyrant" (Beyoncé & Dolly Parton)

I pray it's actually happened and she at least get those nominations and wins too . She deserves it. She is long overdue.

:rip: not both Jealous and 2On going viral. With 2On potential being able to do 1M (735K currently) daily if it continues to rise . 2On charting would be iconic but she has 4 independent projects. GP please catch up.

"Another big hit this year was Tinashe's "Nasty," which could give the singer her first nomination or two. It must be noted, though, that songs that don't do very well on the urban charts tend to underperform at the Grammys, and "Nasty" was only a hit on rhythmic radio. That said, the song's virality could help it, and the acclaim for her album "Quantum Baby" could also help her nab a spot in Best Progressive R&B Album."

Gold Derby predicting snub for Nasty but for QB because of lack of Urban Radio for Nasty.

Not servicing Nasty to Urban might just be a huge mistake just as we said it would back in July. If she gets snubbed in favour of After Hours I will scream  :deadbanana4:

while BB/ANG3L is stronger and def feels more adventurous imo, I find myself going back to Quantum Baby very often.

the 1-6 track run is contemporary R&B done right.

I'm so confident she'll get at least 1 nom. Would be literally INSANE if they don't nominate her in progressive r&b album, but it's the Grammys so you can expect whatever

A friend I haven't seen in years just hit me up and asked if I wanted to see her live in February, he already bought the tickets and all. I'm so happy and can't wait to see him again too! :smitten:

Bought bf and I tickets for her show in Melbourne. So happy it's at The Forum (my fave venue in Melbourne) and it was pretty cheap ($99) compared to other concerts of similar size.

Hope my UO vinyl ships soon, cant wait to get it.
