Realistically shes not getting nominated unfortunately… Nasty just isn't the type of song Grammys would go for cc: 2 on. And QB has got the acclaimed consensus that BB/Angel had.

Best remixed recording is her best shot ironically

With all thoses bad songs that got nominated you think an actual great song like Nasty can't be nominated?

Nasty is a Pop/R&B banger, there's literally no R&B category it fits in well.

That's on top of the fact R&B Grammy Voters in general not listening to Tinashe nor respect her as a vocalist. They're not even being exposed to her via radio. :monkey:

VMA's was its best chance and it got snubbed

It true that R&B categories is run by the shea butter community. Her being nominated and even winning a Grammy is based on how well and how effective her and her team campaigned.

Is this really that much different if we don't include nasty's numbers? I thought more people would check out the album after Nasty's success.

Most of the numbers came from Nasty (6 mil+) & NBB (1.4 mil). So not really much growth.

Shes got much better playlisting, better Apple Music numbers and very very good radio support!

Sure Nasty was more viral song territory than a certified hit but her name is back in the mainstream

Considering the digital sales and streams, it should chart on Billboard 200. It might even hit top 100.

Getting no sleep and thirsty are her best songs in years Imo. She deserves album of the year for them two alone.

i think that it was a good to separate BB/A and QB cuz they're not really hitting the same , while BB/A is very experimental but QB not really is but very laid back  calm and sexy..

Got my ticket to see her at LIV in Miami Beach this Sunday! It'll probably be a 6 song set, that's what most artists seem to do at this nightclub.

Still excited, regardless! :WAP:

have so much fun baby! I was looking at it and prices were wild but report back!!!

where are the genre submissions for nasty? i think she should send it to both R&B song and performance, if needs couldn't get a nom i doubt a random album track would get a nom so sending CTL would make no sense

the remixes are the only versions that i could see having an actual chance outside of the pop categories, imo, because r&b is a lot more strict on what they are and aren't willing to recognize (or maybe i should say who) but anyway, you do have a point so yeah nasty should go for r&b song & performance.

well we can't & probably shouldn't compare this to 2 on because we don't even know if rca submitted anything for tinashe during aquarius era. as far as we know, everything after that era was not sent & that's the only era where i don't think it's ever been truly confirmed.

i do think the kaytranada remix of nasty & the video are probably her best bets, although i'm not even sure if she'd want to submit the kay remix simply because of how it may be perceived. just want her nominated tbh so she can potentially start being higher up on these festivals roster & maybe start headlining more. i know the brazilians want to see her again at some point & this could help her book that south america festival circuit run next year.

Brooklyn looks like it's sold out, the LA Greek show is struggling tho…((only 1/3 sold out) probably because of Charli/Troye being in LA that week….)

I hope they postpone those Cali dates to the end of the tour.

She's co-headlining two big festivals in Australia so I hope she does the same in Asia/Latin America.

actually, best remixed recording goes to the remixer, not the original artist

damn, I hope it'll get better closer to the dates. No Broke Boys taking off would definitely help a lot

She 100% needs to promote the tour more… the radio silence is the most concerning thing. But Brooklyn date being 100% sold out is a positive sign. :monkey:

Idk if it's too late to add another more relevant opener?

damn, this is terrible! :skull:

also why didn't we get no new music video since GNS? Release week would've been perfect....

Barely any tickets has sold besides the weekend it went on sales. The album did barely anything to moving tickets. Texas is struggling. Atl is okay, I am sure it will sell out eventually. DC (big venue for her), Boston struggling. Portland is soldout, she should upgrade the venue. SF nearly sold out. She should upgrade to the Masonic or add Oakland. Sacramento is sold out, she should upgrade the venue. Some of the price for some of the venues are quite pricey due premium/platinum tickets (there's a lot of them too, especially in certain markets). She could have sold more tickets. She needs to add another nyc date, one preferably on the weekend.

Who is the person that usually have access to tickets sales. Can someone ask him about the tour. Since the VMA are not happening she needs some big promo. It would be sad if she would have to downgrade or cancel dates. Especially she doing the same venues from the cancel joint tour.
