The interviewer putting Flame and Player on her Tinashe Mount Rushmore

:clack:

I wish there was a way to see her face in real time when the interviewer said that :gaycat6:. I know they have little time to prepare so she just had to come up with ones she liked but that one is unfortunate. Also when they're playing the Life's Too Short snippet they have the RCA logo in the corner:weeps:

Also currently working on my Quantum BB tracklist

Spoiler

1 No Simulation

2 Getting No Sleep

3 Needs

4 Thirsty

5 Nasty

6 Talk to Me Nice

7 Uh Huh

8 Red Flags

9 Gravity

10 When I Get You Alone

11 Treason

12 None of My Business

13 Tightrope

14 Cross That Line

I kinda have No Broke Boys as a 'bonus' for now at the beginning so i can boost its streams easily. That track + Treason, None of My Business, and Tightrope just feel more out of place and hopefully will find a good spot in the tracklisting on part 3. There is definitely a clear through-line and new level of vulnerability in these collections so far.

I'm just hoping that since BB/A had 7 songs, and QB had 8... part 3 has 9

Right here, right now, I been waiting for ya
Tell me when you're ready
I'ma lay you down, take it nice and slow

But now we're finally fallin' in love
When I get you alone

as much as grammys don't matter, that time is coming & i know she's gonna submit and i need someone on her team to actually be smart about it for once. fingers crossed, her submissions would be:

- best album packaging

- best engineering, non classical

- album of the year

- record of the year: nasty

- song of the year: nasty

- best pop duo performance: nasty remix w/ chlöe

- best dance/electronic record: zoom (if she can or at least suggest it to machinedrum)

- best remixed recording: nasty (match my chic kaytranada)

- best progressive r&b album

- best r&b song: cross that line (a long shot but it's more in line with what they prefer & you really just never know with them)

- best melodic rap performance: nasty remix w/tyga or roll the dice and do the original

- best music video: nasty (this could quite literally one of her best chances to actually win & not just be nominated as its lowkey a very overlooked category imo)

someone screenshot and send to her manager :eli: seriously tho but really, the goal isn't necessarily to win but to be nominated. she could use that as more leverage for performances/festivals/etc that way she could visit more places to see more fans a bit more often than she currently does; not to mention the money from being a little higher up on the roster of festivals could go a long way.

where are the genre submissions for nasty? i think she should send it to both R&B song and performance, if needs couldn't get a nom i doubt a random album track would get a nom so sending CTL would make no sense

Just send it to Becky or Simonne and tag tinashe she is very involved. She constantly checks social media and comments.

She needs to submit nasty for everything it could potentially qualify for. NBB for pop categories and best pop dance. She also needs to submit for technical categories and the small categories that people usually overlooked.

Nasty for everything it quality for and the remixes. Quantum baby for everything is potentially qualified for.  Try to book some big performances (whatever the biggest show she can book) around nominations weeks.

I am hoping the reason album releases week is such a none event is because they are saving for NBBs and Grammy campaigns.

I wish things were different and she had a nice debut, that would be great for Grammy campaign, oh well.

Got my ticket to see her at LIV in Miami Beach this Sunday! It'll probably be a 6 song set, that's what most artists seem to do at this nightclub.

Still excited, regardless! :WAP:

Realistically shes not getting nominated unfortunately… Nasty just isn't the type of song Grammys would go for cc: 2 on. And QB has got the acclaimed consensus that BB/Angel had.

Best remixed recording is her best shot ironically

If I was Tinashe's team I would make a mv for cross that line with a famous black actor as love interest and send it to urban & urban AC. Basically Snoh Allegra roll out for Whoa.

NBB isn't really getting Social attention atm so best to just focus on pushing tour tickets imo
