I feel like it will, but Nasty and Getting No Sleep not getting atmos mixes on release also makes me think it wont.

After listening to Chloe's album, I wish they had a collab on there. Its way more r&b than the sounds Tinashe has been doing but it would have been so good to have her on Nice Girls Finish Last or Rose 

 

I wonder if she has any plans for release week for promo or teasing.

i don't think anyone actually hates it but it is kinda regarded as like her weakest project/the project most feel a bit of a disconnect to. anyone who isn't delusional also knows that even tho it may be a "weaker" project, it's still pretty high quality with fan favorites.

No. Ooh La La is my favorite song of hers. That track alone puts the entire album at slightly above average.

I agree. It didn't have the same sense of direction like her first two albums. The label drama affected this album and it's just too much of an attempt at what mainstream sound they thought she should have in order to get success.

Joyride is the era that turned me into a stan because I could see the potential affected by label issues and industry delusional standards. It will always have a special place in my heart.

 

Weirdly enough, the cover has aged better than ever imo as it's a perfect representation of her compromised artistry. But as said earlier, Ooh La La alone stomps careers.

I wouldn't call it hate

 

It is just very evident that the label was heavily messing with the project

 

It does have a few gems like the title track, he don't want it, ooh la la, faded love and no contest

 

It just feels like a collection of songs and not an album

Joyride also holds a special place in my heart, seeing it constantly get pushed back made me root for her and stan her that much harder

I just hope her & team aren't surprised/sad when the album doesn't do much and she heads back to relative obscurity
