Hopefully she releases a quantum baby unholy hour or 3AM edition or something. I really think this will get a deluxe. There's no way they don't drag this era out fully with Nasty's success. 1
PartyFavor Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 I hope this is released in dolby atmos. All her projects deserve it I feel like it will, but Nasty and Getting No Sleep not getting atmos mixes on release also makes me think it wont. 1

PartyFavor Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 After listening to Chloe's album, I wish they had a collab on there. Its way more r&b than the sounds Tinashe has been doing but it would have been so good to have her on Nice Girls Finish Last or Rose I wonder if she has any plans for release week for promo or teasing. 2

PartyFavor Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Didn't see anyone mention it but she posted the lyrics to No Simulation. Likely from the CD booklet 1
Brooklyn Baby Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 I'm so excited. I already know she's going to serve. BB/ANG3L was short but a perfect project 1
Trip Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 (edited) we didn't visit her entire discography before the drop Edited August 11, 2024 by Trip 1 1
rockwitu08 Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Random question If anyone wants to answer, but does the majority still hate Joyride? Some of my favorite Tinashe songs are on there 🥲 1

That track alone puts the entire album at slightly above average. 14 hours ago, Saint said: i don't think anyone actually hates it but it is kinda regarded as like her weakest project/the project most feel a bit of a disconnect to. anyone who isn't delusional also knows that even tho it may be a "weaker" project, it's still pretty high quality with fan favorites. I agree. It didn't have the same sense of direction like her first two albums. The label drama affected this album and it's just too much of an attempt at what mainstream sound they thought she should have in order to get success. 5 hours ago, VersionsofNashe said: Yes this snippet is everything cmon we know the intro to this song very well!!!! Some of my favorite Tinashe songs are on there 🥲 Joyride is the era that turned me into a stan because I could see the potential affected by label issues and industry delusional standards. It will always have a special place in my heart. Weirdly enough, the cover has aged better than ever imo as it's a perfect representation of her compromised artistry. But as said earlier, Ooh La La alone stomps careers. 5

Some of my favorite Tinashe songs are on there 🥲 I wouldn't call it hate It is just very evident that the label was heavily messing with the project It does have a few gems like the title track, he don't want it, ooh la la, faded love and no contest It just feels like a collection of songs and not an album 3
rockwitu08 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Joyride also holds a special place in my heart, seeing it constantly get pushed back made me root for her and stan her that much harder also happy release week to the fan base who is constantly fed 🥹😭 4
YoungDreamer Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Interview + cover shoot on The Cut https://www.thecut.com/article/tinashe-quantum-baby-album-nasty-interview.html 3
Trip Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 didn't expect the vinyl to be sold out there are still plenty of bb/ang3l ones left 1
PartyFavor Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 The interview confirms even with Nasty's success, she is not concerned with having another hit. If it happens, it happens. just remember that before typing the long essays about her team fumbling the momentum of nasty or QB lol 1

I just hope her & team aren't surprised/sad when the album doesn't do much and she heads back to relative obscurity 1
