Taylor and Beyoncé are on good terms, both attending each other's movie premieres. There's a good chance Beyoncé will include covers or mixes of some iconic country songs when she goes on tour, maybe even something from Taylor's catalogue. Since Taylor's on tour, which song from Cowboy Carter would you like her to cover?

I would pay disgusting amounts of money for a Bodyguard cover, or even just for her to hop on a remix. Even disregarding the backing vocalist that sounds a bit like her for that short little second, it's the right kind of sound - it's almost like a 2024 Fleetwood Mac song (and it's far from the only song on the album like that). That's a perfect sound to accommodate Taylor's voice.

 

I know not everyone is on the same page about these two women, but I genuinely love how supportive they've been to each other, I love the incredible music they both create, and I would adore a Taylor Swift version of Bodyguard. Sort of secretly, so as to not get totally clowned on, I've wanted TTPD to sound like Bodyguard since the moment I heard the song. Beyoncé just did THAT with that song, I can't explain it, her talent defies words.
