Super cute harmonies. Love the twist where the second verse deviates from the rest of the track entirely. I'm a sucker for a guitar solo. ย Carly Rae Jepsen - Anxious: Unfortunately this doesn't fulfill the requirements of the theme whatsoeverโฆ ย Slayyyter - Starfucker: Banger! The pre-chorus and second verse are serving c*nt. I enjoy how cheeky it is overall. ย The Veronicas - Perfect: This sound is very much a retread for them, although after a few listens it has grown on me. ย Gretta Ray - Heartbreak Baby: A bop and a half! I appreciate how propulsive the melodies into the chorus are. The bridge especially is a highlight. ย The Japanese House - Touching Myself: This chorus is excellency! The verses left me wanting more. The little production flourishes are cute. ย Chlรถe - Feel Me Cry: It kinda came and went without leaving much of an impression. ย Jessica Mauboy - Flashback: Issa bop! ย Basique, but a bop nonetheless. ย Kelela - On The Run: The vibe is vibing. It coasts along, which isn't a negative per say, but the lengthy runtime means it gets a lil sleepy. ย Holly Humberstone - Into Your Room: The melodies are gorgeous!
