Neither you nor I can predict the future. Even without manchin it could still be 50/50 with a tie breaker in the lame duck. I feel like a lame duck retirement and replacement strategy would absolutely be a nonstarter for Manchin if Biden were to lose the presidency or if Democrats were set to lose the Senate in January. Sinema's wild card, but she has no reason to play nice with "the party that pushed her out"
GhostBox Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I actually agree that she should. It will ensure her seat stays progressive/democrat leaning but also it would give Biden another thing to brag about and campaign on. 🤷
