I feel like a lame duck retirement and replacement strategy would absolutely be a nonstarter for Manchin if Biden were to lose the presidency or if Democrats were set to lose the Senate in January. Sinema's wild card, but she has no reason to play nice with "the party that pushed her out"

I actually agree that she should. It will ensure her seat stays progressive/democrat leaning but also it would give Biden another thing to brag about and campaign on. 🤷
