Using religion to minimize the impact of natural disasters

Anyone else starting to get annoyed by various religions using their "god" as a way to minimize the tragedy of Natural Disasters? I'm starting to notice that anytime a natural disaster happens the nuts don't event give condolences or a RIP. They immediately resort to their "god" punishing humanity or some bullshit like that. Or how it's the end of times. Like Natural Disasters are a 2000 Invention.

They have been doing this for all of history.

Remember when they blamed the people of New Orleans for Katrina for being "sinful"?  Or the people of Indonesia for not believing in the "correct" religion for that tsunami?

It's giving cult behavior, I hope their god punishes them for it

i'd like to see a christian and a muslim debate about whose god is real and whose is not. maybe then they'd understand why atheism make more sense :sistrens:
