I'm from the US and the answer is easily Christina Aguilera.

Yeah. Her fans, let alone the GP, escape whenever she releases something

Germany is probably Helene Fischer overall, but there is a notable disconnect between what radio plays and what people actually listen to. But of out all domestic artists, she gets the most attention I feel.

Italy is likely Tiziano Ferro or Eros Ramazzotti, but I also still hear a *lot* of Nek and Biagio Antonacci on the radio or in public spaces.

I spend the least amount of time in the US each year, but I assume it's Taylor right now. When I lived there last, it was Lady GaGa.

(For full context, I'm a double ex-pat.)

Aya Nakamura, I guess ? But it's not like she was "inescapable" anyway, I don't listen to the radio nor watch TV. :kitty:

in the UK there are the obvious global (Taylor, Beyoncé) and local answers (Dua) but RAYE is a big one atm, really crosses over into lots of mainstream TV coverage cos of the record company backstory, the 6 (i think) Brit awards, and also she does big band gigs of her songs live that brings in the older audience, switch on a TV or radio here atm and RAYE will be on it

In Australia it's Taylor Swift by a huge margin.
And lowkey Rihanna but that's because her hits are always played in malls/stores.

The chokehold Taylor has on Australia is insane :jonny:

BUT Pink is so massive here - her tours are always huge events (the Funhouse tour DVD is 32 x platinum :deadbanana4:) and her music is everywhere.

In my country local artists are always more popular but for the pop girls it might be Rihanna, P!nk and Adele

Is she constantly played on the radio? What are her most popular songs there?

I don't listen to radio so I don't know about it. Many of my native people don't listen to radio either.

I think Shake it off, Love stories, We are never ever getting back together, Cruel summer, Styles etc.
