well, it's mainly rooted in a 60s/70s bluesy southern rock vibe moreso than "country" in its modern definition.

I'm a huge fan of Beyonce but I don't think a sole person can reclaim something, it has to be a collective effort

Can we stop with the reclamation narrative? Y'all are setting Beyoncé up. This never even came out of her mouth. Y'all just decided to impose this on her and ran with it, and when your delusions aren't met, she gets attacked. It's not on her to "reclaim" anything. She just wants to do her thing.
