VMAs is so iconic. 

The costumes were the very same ones created for and used in the amazing 1988 movie Dangerous Liaisons starring Glenn Close and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Sorry, but I really don't think any part of that is live. 

 

If you compare it to the Japanese pro-cam footage, it's the same vocal take. It's more or less the album cut.

The probably played some live sounds over it it sounds much more live than the very studio version on the MTV awards

I'm gonna have to watch some boots of the show if I can find them. It's such a shame we don't have a lot of footage from TGS. It was such a good tour.

I think that's how I first discovered Madonna. I love this show. Favourite performances: Fever, Vogue, Deeper, Express and not at the same level but I love Bonita too
