I do think that coming out with the vishal rebrand first was a smart move and let people slowly get used to how she looks and acts etc, then drop the song. I compared them to other artists from Interscope/Geffen and they all have their name along with "under exclusive license to (...)", except Camila's. Her releases are "Geffen/Interscope" but her name comes separately, "2024 Camila Cabello". I'm not sure if this has something to do with her contract with the label, but maybe it's different. I wonder if she's "independent" and the label is just distributing her music. I don't know nor understand how that works.
