I hate her, but i gotta give it to her. There are so many great songs on the album.

 

However the album remain trash, because of interludes, different collab flavor (a ******* drake song in middle :rip:), track positions.

 

Whoever decided that for her deserve to be fired. I can never listen to the whole album, even though good half of the songs have been on heavy rotation for a while.

Yes, but how did that contribute to actual promo though? I am not hating on Camila, I'm saying that her team hasn't done a good job at promoting this album. This era feels kinda mismanaged, there were some good moments like the festivals, the MTV performance or the pop up sessions but overall, it's a mess unfortunately. 

 

What she really needs is a proper hit or a tour.

Why hasn't a tour happened AGAIN. She did the exact same thing for Familia… confirmed a tour and then nothing. She literally said in an IG post that a CXOXO tour was definitely happening… ugh

Teams don't promote albums fans do , word of mouth does

I really hope they didn't set some unreleastic money goal for tour to happen and then sales were too low so they canceled

I guess there will be festival dates in 2025 tho? Because what is her occupance at this point, what is her job?

She's writing CC5 and I think she's gonna book some acting roles, which is exciting, because she's really good at it

I think that the label is not willing to support her financially on a big tour. Camila seems ready to hit the stage again but when that will happen is a mystery. If they are not planning to do a tour next year, they should at least book her for festivals. I still can't believe how she didn't get a slot in Coachella's line-up.

Not on her socials, but there's some proof behind the scenes. Finneas also said that she's writing with a friend of his.

She was also seen in New York, where she normally goes when she's writing.

Hmm, interesting. Makes sense that they want to wrap this era and move on to the next one. But I must say that even though I am not a massive C, XOXO fan, it's a pity it didn't get a little bit more appreciation. 

 

Now the question is: will Camila commit to her current aesthetic or will she go back to her other sounds?

I really think that if Drake wasn't on this album, it would have been received a lot better. It definitely gave her a lot of negative attention and hate that she didn't deserve because the music itself was better than anything she has ever done. I think that association hurt her more than the Charli XCX comparisons did but no one wants to admit it :coffee2:

She could easily do a 30-40 date tour with venues up to 5-6k and charge 100$ a ticket and make bank so idk what's holding her back? 
 

she literally hasn't toured since her first album. I don't get it? 
 

edit - she could do a world tour tbh and do twice as many dates actually it's kinda frustrating

Tbh the Drake songs literally saved the album. They are the only songs that received 1+ million debut on Spotify. Without them, the album would've flopped even harder
