TryMe Posted June 28 Posted June 28 I had such high expectations for this album, I still love it, but I thought it would be flawless. - The album is way too short, it needed a bit more depth - there is much potential. The bones are there. - Koshi was NOT needed. I don't even know him? Is he a local superstar in the 305? - Production is really good, also I liked her writing style it's cute. - I think HOT UPTOWN could be a medium sized hit, but there are too many strong songs right now to hit the number one spot. Overall I really like the album 8/10 2
Zaynsus Posted June 28 Posted June 28 After my first listen, my ranking (excluding the interludes) would be : HE KNOWS I LUV IT HOT UPTOWN Chanel No.5 DREAM-GIRLS pretty when i cry B.O.A.T. Twentysomethings June Gloom Uuugly Dade County Dreaming
TryMe Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Current top 3; Dade County Dreaming, Pink XOXO, Pretty When I Cry
Grizzo Posted June 28 Posted June 28 well this is interesting! my favorites are the low-key tracks : B.O.A.T. (love the production and the weirdly dreamy and melancholic Pitbull sample), Pretty when i cry, June Gloom, Twentysomethings and DREAM GIRLS (which is a banger) The Drake features fell flat for me

Like I don't want to be too bitter but how could she be so stupid to not even give us 1-2 tracks in this vein? 1
