Britney's catalogue is doing well among her peers and Hold Me Closer did decent. Only Beyonce (16m) and Shakira (11.6m) oustream her from that era (Eminem too ofc but he's not a pop girl). 8 4
imason Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Cardi B Selena Gomez just stop the droplets and release a good quality lead single and BAM the numbers will do good enough for the album. delay after delay is getting really annoying and making people loose interest especially when the droplet songs are TRASH. 2

Because BJ & Glory aren’t comebacks and the only things that can be considered as such are Blackout/Circus & Hold Me Closer. 4 1

Her last two releases bomb hard doesn’t matter when it came out This thread isn’t about streams…. This thread is about artists who keep making comebacks yet flop. Hold me closer is one of Britney's most recent songs and it did decently. Britney has had 0 albums since 2016 so we can't say anything album recent album performance. Streams matter because we are in the streaming era where streams are one of the most important measures for a discography's popularity. 4

Gorjesspazze9 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Probably Cardi. No one is even talking about that new song she dropped or the one before. Her last hit was probably that glo rilla ft. 1

I think the only correct answers probably is Xtina... She got a strings of flops span into a decade....Bionic, Lotus, Liberation, Aguilera. Edited March 18 by leyaris11 1 2

Cardi not releasing an album after WAP smashed was surprising though
