Ivan_brit Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Dance The Night the hit that you are loved the transition to Don't Start Now Watcha Doing Live End of an Era trasition to Break My Heart looking very psychedelic
Mate Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I never understood her obsession with Pretty Please. I could understand if it was a single, but it's literally a random album track. She could have easily dropped that song and put French Exit on the setlist since they have a similar vibe. I would say that the French exit is the Pretty Please of RO. 2 1
ariananext Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) I don't mind the dark aesthetic, the issue is that it looks kind of cheap. Also why is she performing 21 songs, she's an A-lister on a world tour and about to perform in stadiums too - I'm sure she'll add more songs for those dates but why treat these shows differently when they're part of the same tour. Maybe she couldn't bring the stadium production but there's no reason to do such a short show, it's just two songs more than Future Nostalgia Tour when she had one less album and no Dance The Night. Even if she delivers a great show next year I'd be so mad if I were an asian fan who got to attend now. Edited November 5 by ariananext 1
BrokenMachine Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Btw her vocals were better than the last performances

Long concerts have never been the standard. A 90-minute-long show with 21 songs seems fine to me 1
Mate Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I think she should have dropped PP and Hallucinate from the setlist since they are album tracks and replaced them with French Exit and IDGAF. Thus, the number of songs from the first two albums would be relatively similar, and Radical Optimism would dominate the setlist. I don't think people would miss Hallucinate and PP that much (although I love Hallucinate). 1
Vignesh Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I just got back home after seeing Dua at her gig in Singapore. I personally loved everything about it. She sang her classics as well as some of the newer tracks off the recent album. So for a casual Dua fan like me, I can't complain. 2
Solaria Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I really wanna know if Dua is aware of the extreme negative reaction from the fans. Like at this point it has to be getting to her. The tour is getting so much crap from Twitter Loves 1
halcyonday Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) Future Nostalgia outfits >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> EDIT: The entire tour looks like a rushed mess that no one really wanted to do. Very shocked considering FN tour was an event. This is so lame. Edited November 5 by halcyonday 1

The tour is getting so much crap from Twitter Loves I mean, it's kinda off putting, since there's nothing wrong with the show itself, it's just that the fans know she can do so much better than that... but as long as it doesn't reflect on the ticket sales, I don't think they'll do something about it Edited November 5 by BrokenMachine
Mate Posted November 5 Posted November 5 It's possible that due to the failure of the album, she didn't get a budget for a bigger show, and when, to everyone's surprise, the demand for tickets was huge, it might have been too late to prepare something new and "more expensive". 1

FN was a success & I see the same budget saw the Olivia Rodrigo show at Netflix the stage & production was not a Big budget, similar thing with Doja Cat last tour My point is… who is getting a big budget or production this days?? I can only think of Taylor & The Weeknd
katara Posted November 5 Posted November 5 This is def giving ANTi tour laziness, lack of budget and lack of effort Oh why do I gotta stan for lazy bombshells 1
katara Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Also she needs to axe those 2 FN bombs Pretty Please and HalluciFAD already and include a proper hit like IDGAF which is very sing a long since everyone knows the lyrcis + another RO album track

Nothing of that tbh everyone with common sense knows she was gonna do the same as she did the "summer shows," at least for the Asian leg. She has a 3-month break between the last show in Asia and the first one in Australia, so changing the entire stage, setlist, and choreo didn't really make much sense. I still think (and I hope) that she'll change some stuff for next year. I hope I'm right, because if not, it will only prove my theory that the girl has become lazy, greedy, and just a money hungry

That the Asian dates will look like slightly extended summer shows and that Australia and the concerts afterwards will be a "proper" tour. Although, it would be unfair to Asian fans not to get the same experience as the rest of the world.

Shes been wearing the same clothes for over a year… it's tired, it's boring, it's not even nice to look at, looks cheap. She looks like she doesn't even do her hair anymore. There is no effort at all to be a pop star. It's almost like she just shows up, knows the choreo, goes through the motions and calls it a day. If this was the effort she's going to put into this tour, I wish she would have canceled and focused more on a new era cuz we are BORED. 3

Shes busy the rest of the year, she has no time to create a new show. This is what we are getting for another year of touring, no doubt.
ThousandMiles Posted November 5 Posted November 5 definitely a rushed tour, the random singapore shows made no sense anyway bc it's like 5 months before the next Australian shows right? hoping the 2025 shows give Monster Ball 2.0 glow up shes never delivered with tours unfortunately, FN tour was a disappointment in terms of production
ThousandMiles Posted November 5 Posted November 5 i understand no Falling Forever, but to snub her best song French Exit… oh she needs to be cancelled!
