He could wipe that amount with one stadium tour. His 2017 tour grossed 356 million and touring has exploded across the board since then.

He probably can't get away from MGM long enough to do one with logistics that make sense.

If there was a simple solution, we wouldn't even be hearing about this.

this actually sounds like an awful situation! gambling addiction sounds awful and the fact that he has the debt with his employer basically makes this an extremely sticky situation. i hope he manages to find help and get out of this somehow.

This is his karma for undeservingly snatching AOTY from Melodrama in 2017 :keir:

What the hell

Is that why hes been touring Asia with no new albums.

This is kinda dissapointed though. All that money go to waste.

Somebody pull him out of this please 😭

Makes sense.

He has a residency at MGM so they treat him like high rolling royalty. His line of credit in the MGM casinos is probably a disgusting amount.

He'll be a slave to MGM if he doesnt get his sh*t together.

Wow... Just how?

I highly doubt MGM gave even someone of his caliber that high of a line of credit :rip:

I’d believe $5M or maybe even upwards of $10M but there’s no way they’d have allowed anywhere near $50M

My question is, how does someone go on debt to a casino?

Posted

I’m calling BS on this story. MGM Resorts executives are not stupid and are not in the business of letting their top talent become $50m in debt in their own casinos. He just opened a bar/lounge in one of their hotels.

Also, reliable source:

They have credit lines like banks

So you can borrow from the cassino if you are a big client which in a gamblers mind is free money (if he wins) but debt when loosing

Well he better work to pay it

He makes 1.5M a night? Well depending on how many night a week he performa, he can easily pay off his debt in a short time

He’s honestly never gonna pay this off. Gambling addiction is very hard to beat. Specially in the situation he’s in. He has to be in Vegas for the residence, and he’s probably stuck on this residence to pay his debt… for every million he makes he’s spending two. it’s a negative feedback loop. Of course, MGM is happy to keep his credit line high to keep him stuck. It’s giving Elvis. Don’t be surprised if MGM is the promoter for Bruno’s next 360 tour.

Oh Jesus gross. Not him selling his catalog away because of a gambling addiction, I-

Good luck booking those world tour when he's now bound to that MGM residency. :rip:

The House always wins. It's not a saying. It's literally just what it is.
If you keep winning, they would try to see if you're cheating. And even if they can't prove that you're cheating, they would just outright soft ban you from entering again.
Sure, once in a while someone could walk out winning big, but statistically speaking, the house would still win more in the long term.

Started as an Elvis impersonator when he was a kid and now it seems like he's trapped in a very similar situation.

If it's true it's very tragic. He owes 50 million + interest + he's still gambling? :rip:

I hope it's not true cuz he's too talented to waste it on a gambling addiction.
