They're still trying. Oh well, may the best selling album of the week win.

she deserves it and this time i don't mind tactics. she's insanely talented, has put up through a lot, delivered one of her best albums (prepare yourselves grammys 2025) and since ariana already had one week at the top, wouldn't it be nice to have another woman dominate? ariana will most def be number one for the third week anyway so it's a win-win situation for kacey to get it

ariana stans should stream deeper well and repent for their fave wrecking a marriage and ruining the life of a then new born child :giraffe:

Why do you have that woman on your avatar?

Anw, between Justin and Usher, Justin definitely have more consistent career since Usher has faced a downfall after Confession era

Usher had a second wind in the early 2010's and had his first actual flop era in 2016, 20 years in. He definitely had the more consistent career.

Btw the fact that Usher is suddenly the benchmark for JT's success is so odd. Yes, they're relatively similar artists in sound and image, but that doesn't change the fact that Usher was primarily a 90's r&b act who managed to cross over, with all the limitations and hurdles that that entailed. Timberlake came up in the era of bubblegum pop with an international boy band that sold 40M albums in 4 years. He was an A-list fixture from the very beginning, so much so that his Wiki page still reads "Often referred to as the Prince of Pop" in the intro for some reason (we need to fix that). There is no way to claim that him having a mid-off with Usher (and losing) is ok.

YEah he had a couple cute hits in the early 2010s but you can't deny he wasn't on the level that he used to be. While JT maintained his level since 2002 to 2016. You could argue that he faced a bit challenge in 2018 but he was still A+ lister then. Well, until Britney ended him :eli:

I dunno girl, Part 2 was lowkey a flop. It just didn't look like one because Mirrors was still played and he had all his radio and industry goodwill pushing the underperforming singles to chart decently even though no one was buying or streaming them. It barely outsold Usher's 2012 album actually :toofunny2:

Will these even count? I thought they had to be $5 minimum (like what Travis Scott and Jimin did).

Perhaps, but let's not forget that 2016 was the biggest song of his career and the best selling single of the year globally.

Haven't bought a digital album since 2019 but bought Deeper Well. I'm 99.9% out of the whole stanning charts thing (not in a pretentious way, just realized I didn't want to spend my money on already-mega rich people lol), but I want her to get the number 1 so badly. It's probably one of my favorite albums ever, and she's so deserving of it. It's amazing how her career has slowly grown over the last decade to just now reach a peak, rather than the opposite that typically happens

Still using Usher, whose debut album was released 8 years before Justin's, as a shield. :bibliahh:
