I hate to pull the sexism card but b*tch I will and idgaf because the double standards are INSANE. If this was a MPG not only would it be 15+ pages it'd be full of people laughing, mocking and ridiculing with gifs and memes. The way some of these pickmes make excuses for mediocre men and is another discussion for another time.

Also, I don't think is as much about a 20 year old break-up tbh. People have short memories and the news cycle moves way too fast nowadays. I think just think JT's audience has moved on and I say this as someone who used to love him but there's nothing rly there anymore... the music, the look, the era, the personality, it's all just not rly interesting anymore.

I mean… it’s because there’s no JT stan presence here (or anywhere lbr). We point and laugh and move on. Katy and J. Lo flop threads get so big because there are fanbase rivalries and they have a (dwindling) base of pop fans who defend and love them.

PREACH !!!

Let's be honest, what was appealing to audience in general was his sexy appeal, his dance moves, but also his R&B/Pop/blue-eyed soul sounds that used to be characteristic of him, etc...

He lost of all of that now, since nearly a decade even, and the music isn't appealing enough anymore, therefore people are turn their backs on him (and rightfully so).

It has NOTHING to do with Britney (it happened in 2002 lmao), no one think about it or even give a single **** about the situation in big 2024 !

You must be living under a rock then because he's been a ruthlessly dragged and mocked on social media for the past year. And yes, it's 2024, social media is part of the real world.

Oh wow. This dude literally DOMINATED the industry from mid 2000's all the way until 2014. So this is a literal downfall which is well deserved.

That Britney book really ended his career, that's what he gets for building his solo career by mocking his ex and intentionally hurting her and her career fpr years and YEARS, especially during her breakdown. I bet he's kicking the air and crying at home. He's known for being an emotional wreck.

Where are his fans who insist the hate and outrage is only relegated to Twitter and doesn't translate to reality??? :skull:

I think this more of him being kind of musically irrelevant to Gen Z:rip:

You still did not provide where you got the 6/7m streams from even though I showed receipt of what it shows on the Artist page.  No receipts. You should not have made this thread until u had receipts

It's not that hard to figure out the numbers.

Selfish fell below 1M already (995,376) :celestial2:

I can't believe they're keeping this on TTH. It only spent 2 days in the Top 50 on US Spotify, and just 9 days in the Top 100. It's been out of the Top 200 since early February and hasn't re-entered ever since. Not even the album release could help it. Globally, it did even worse, peaking at #92 and having left the Top 200 in under 2 weeks. :deadbanana2:
