Exactly, GP was not anticipating or wanted a joint album or a soundtrack from Beyonce. In the eyes of the GP and Charts, Renaissance is her first Studio Album since Lemonade. That's why The Gift and EIL were not indicators of her future success. Because they were seen by the GP as side projects.

"Man of the Woods" showed a SEVERE decline, and that was 6 years ago, where he became less relevant as the years went on, and streaming became more popular. The truth is, his time as a successful music artist has passed, and he really has nothing to say in his music.

 

While the album is better than "20/20 Part 2" and "Man of the Woods", there is no momentum whatsoever, and I don't ever see him getting it back.

If anything, Beyonce is playing this the smartest because she releases a new album every two years. Rihanna, Taylor, Ariana, The Weeknd, Drake and Bieber all showed us that the most important way to increase streams and keep them high is to constantly release and do collabs so your page is linked with other artists. These solo releases and long waits are what are killing our faves.

At this rate, I'm not sure EITIW will ever catch up to Circus' first week sales.

The Carters’ stream count doesn’t show up on Beyoncé’s profile, but ALL releases help an artist’s overall streams. If you listen to The Carters, your phone will start recommending Beyonce/Jay-Z songs afterwards. That playlisting boost always helps.
 

Beyonce didn’t take a six year hiatus and that’s a huge part of why her streams are still so high, comparatively.

Kworb’s numbers haven’t updated for yesterday yet. When it shows “3/15,” that means the update was done on 3/15 and the numbers are from 3/14. Kworb will update in 5 hours and show the date as “3/16” and it’ll have yesterday’s total streams.

The way he was just trying to link his Spotify to more successful artists and it still didn’t work. Imagine his daily numbers if he wasn’t being helped by Jungkook, SZA, Calvin Harris, Halsey and Jack Harlow

The Carters has/is having little to no effect though, The Carters pull a tragic 137k daily streams across all songs. That's less than 1% of Beyonce's (excluding carters and DC) 16.2m daily streams. Any playlisting boost is very minimal especially with how terrible the streams are. Crazy in Love alone does around 10x The Carters streams daily.

I know how kworb works. It usually updates around 2-3 pm my time. That's if the artist page does update a few are 2 or 3 days behind some days. Charlie Puths page sometimes will show 3/12 when it's 3/16 they slack.
