Almodusa Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 (edited) A new addition to the iconic sci-fi horror Alien franchise, a television series at FX on Hulu is slated for 2025. Created, written, and directed by Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion) & executive produced by Ridley Scott, the show takes place on Earth three decades before the original 1979 film. Hawley confirmed that the series will be tied more into the style and mythology of the original 1979 film rather than the prequel films Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. Shooting is expected to wrap up in July 2024 as COVID-19 and strikes halted production. Cast: Sydney Chandler Alex Lawther Samuel Blenkin Essie Davis Adarsh Gourav Kit Young Timothy Olyphant David Rysdahl Babou Ceesay Jonathan Ajayi Erana James Lily Newmark Diêm Camille Adrian Edmondson Moe Bar-El Alien: Romulus, a film that takes place between Alien and Aliens, will be released this August in theaters!
